I had replaced this unit 4 months previously and the heater element blew again (no blockages or other apparent reasons), so had to purchase another replacement. Both units Bosch originals. This unit from LM Electrical Spares has been running for a month now without problems. It was 10 cheaper than the previous supplier, so is better value and hopefully will last longer! This unit appears to be used in a massive number of different models and makes, so perhaps we were just unlucky with the first replacement. As a 'spare part' we were unable to get any redress from the previous supplier.

Big discounted genuine heat pump for Bosch Classixx dishwasher. Came well packaged even had a replacement pipe clamp. Now its working perfectly again

The pump is a little bigger than the original but eventually squeezed in. Pump is noisy in comparison to the original one - only changed because heating element packed in and it's a combined unit. Will wait to see if it lasts.

Perfect replacement for faulty heat pump that kept tripping the RCD. Not the easiest of jobs for a DIYer but not that difficult for those used to using tools on a daily basis. Saved £700.00 on a like for like replacement dishwasher. All other parts of the dishwasher were like new.
Straightforward to fit - except for removing the original pipe clip. I drilled a 10mm hole through the plastic base of the machine to let a screwdriver reach the clip. The whole job was then done with just one side of the dishwasher removed.
Have fitted two replacement units in 9 months and both have failed after 4 or 5 months. Not sure if there is something else taking these units out, so rather than throw good money after bad, will buy a new machine that doesn't use this type of heat pump.
From new, this is the third heat pump installation to my 6 year old dishwasher, by a professional fitter. He tells me these pumps are failing more often. The build quality is clearly suspect.
The delivery was quick and website good. This is a genuine Bosch/Siemens pump, yet it was slightly different than the original. It fitted perfectly though.The dishwasher was tripping the circuit breaker & I figured it was the pump heater unit.Dishwasher no longer trips breaker but it leaves some clean water in the bottom after cycles. There is absolutely no blockages in the machine sump or drain pipe or outlet yet it still leaves water in the bottom. Cannot understand why as the pump does discharge the bulk of the water.The heater pump unit is also louder than the original. It is also quiet expensive with a delivery charge as well.I am going to ring the helpline in case it is somewhat defective.
My dishwasher stopped heating, a simple check with a multimeter proved the heater coil had failed. I ordered this heat pump and it arrived very quickly. Fitting it was pretty straightforward, it comes with a hose clip and instructions. the dishwasher is now up and running again. I saved the machine and the cost of an engineer.
