I have a collection of knives, but I want a knife that I can use to really use-and-abuse. Crab legs, lobster tails, etc., something that I don’t mind getting a scratch on but still just as sharp and reliable as my display pieces. This knife does the trick!
I found this line of knives for my mom a while back. She needed something lightweight for her arthritis, but still efficient and high quality since she still loves to cook. If you have someone dealing with health issues I highly recommend these knives! The steel is the same as Zwilling regular knives but in a lighter design. We got her the bread knife first and she was so happy, so I watched to see which knives she went to most and these were her 2 "most of the time" knives. I was thrilled to see such a great price on the set. I will be getting her more of these to cover all her bases, but its nice to surprise her every once in a while with a new one!
Pretty much all i need. A great chefs knife and a great pairing knife. The German steel blades and German construction make a great product. The three rivet style handle is well balanced and comfortable to hold. I use the Chefs knife for all of my larger jobs and the pairing knife for my small prep. So happy with this set.
