I love this mug. It not only keeps my coffee hot all day, but it's the only mug that I've ever owned that prevents coffee from occasionally dripping down onto my shirt when I sip from it.I had a son purchase this mug for me as a Christmas gift years ago, when it cost about $25. It distressed me so much when I lost it on a recent camping trip that I as soon as I got home I searched the internet until I found an exact replacement, and paid twice as much for it without hesitation.I do wish the mug cost a little less though. And while it's slim design feels good in my grip, its cross-sectional diameter is too small to fit snugly into the receptacles in the consoles of most motor vehicles. I had to buy a rubber beer-can insulator to remedy this.

Keeps coffee hot for hours. Easy to drink from. Locking mechanism on spout works perfectly to prevent leaks and spills. Easy to clean as well. Bonus for me: the diameter of the thermos is small enough that it fits into the pouch of my "professional" backpack -- most travel mugs and thermos bottles do not. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

Sleek design and very slender so the way it feels in your hand is perfect and it fits into any cup holder. The Zojirushi SM-KHE48BA Stainless Steel Mug Black 16 ounce has proved to be an excellent mug & well worth the price. All other insulated travel mugs that I've used have been larger that this, but I actually really like the small size a bit. Also, it fits in my coat pocket, and since it doesn't leak I can easily bring it with me wherever I go. It keeps my beverage warm (hot, actually) for a very long time. The lid is designed nicely so that it's easy to drink from without fear of getting too much liquid and potentially burning myself. The only negative comment that I have is that it is somewhat difficult to clean the inner spout, but a small bottle brush should do the trick.

It looks very sleek and modern compared to the other travel mugs out there which I like and the flip top is very secure when I have it jostling around in my bag on the bus. The flip lid was a little awkward to drink from at first, but once I realized you can lock it back and I used it for a couple days I am fully adjusted. The insulation works almost too well. The first day I used it I poured my coffee in, went to work, had it open at my desk all morning and it was still piping hot well into the afternoon. I’ve owned one Zojirushi vacuum coffee mug made in Japan. It was my favorite 12oz container not second to my Stanley Thermos. I was sad to have left it behind while on a 100 mi canoe trip on the MO River at the Rottweiler Pub in Washington, MO. This particular mug, the new one, was made in Thailand. The shape has changed just a little. The top is slanted, the lid opens a little further, probably a nice redesign because it will be less likely to leave a drop of coffee on my nose when drinking from it. However, I’ll really miss my original that was made in Japan.
I had a competitors coffee mug, but it would leak coffee from its drinking mechanism. This was frustrating, so I looked for a simpler version that didn’t have as many potential fail points. ThebZojirushi SM-KHE36/48 has fewer fail points than other brands. It is totally leak proof, so much so that instead of stirring the creamer in, I just screw the lid in and shake it up. Very good product.
It is what I have been looking for for many years! It does not leak and it keeps my coffee hot all day. And the top disassembles for easy cleaning. I am going to buy another one so that if I misplace this one, I won't have to wait for another to arrive.
Bought the Champagne Gold color as a commuter mug. Not only is the exterior beautiful, the mug flat out works perfectly. I fill with hot tea at 7am and it is HOT until the afternoon. I clean it every night when I get home and it is a breeze as the lid disassembles easily. Don't settle for cheap mugs that don't keep liquids hot and leak. This Zojirushi is the best of the best, well thought out, cleans easily, keeps liquids hot or cold for hours, and doesn't leak!
