For anyone wanting a light dewy coverage but find tinted moisturiser a little too light then I’d thoroughly recommend this. I seem to have spent years finding a foundation that didn’t sit in the fine lines and appear mask like. Had this recommend to me about 5 years ago at the YSL counter in Debenhams and I’ve worn ever since. Wonderful for mature skin as it gives a lovely youthful glow. Can highly recommend.

The quality of the foundation is incredible. It really is a great foundation. I have combination skin, which gets very oily on the T-zone area. I wanted a foundation that was light to medium coverage that looked like real skin. This is exactly what it does. I only have to powder my T-zone and it lasts for about 12+ hours. In the summer, however, it does tend to melt a bit and the rest of my face is super shiny, but that's because it's recently been 30 degrees! In the cooler heat it lasts longer and the shine isn't there. I have noticed that whatever amount of foundation you put on, it will become more opaque. So if you think you have not put enough on, believe the process and throughout the day it will build coverage by itself. I used to use this foundation several years ago and loved it, but switched to a different brand when I tried a different foundation for my wedding day makeup that I really liked. However I decided to buy a new bottle of this recently after seeing an advert for it and remembering how much I used to like it. I’m really glad I did! It’s a great foundation, it’s lightweight with a good coverage. I think it makes my skin look really good and I have received several compliments since I started wearing it again. I think it’s a good all year round foundation and I also love the really good selection of shades which means you can find a really good colour match.

I really tried to make this foundation work, it's super drying throughout the day and i applied so much hydrating products to my face AND IM AN OILY SKIN TYPE! colour ranges is average as well especially with tones. It was super cakey for light medium coverage, the more moisture on your face the better. I ended up mixing it with moisturiser and it looked better but for all the hassle it's not worth the price when i have Urban Decay's stay naked that look flawless all day without caking or transferring.

This foundation is amazing, I have oily blemish prone skin and turning 36 this year. I can use 1-2 pumps for every day or build it up with 3-4 pumps for full cover without it looking at all cakey or thick. It's soft blurring effect makes my skin look flawless. It feels light and breathable and is non pore clogging! It doesn't irritate me skin at all. It's the only foundation I haven't got bored of using every day, usually I will switch around but this is my absolute go to now. With the ysl pressed powder it really lasts ALL day.
I really wanted to love this foundation but unfortunately can't manage to make it work for me. My skin is relatively dry and despite proper skin prep, this tends to flake and highlight any slightly dry patches.Additionally, the shade was too orange for my skin so have found that I need to mix it with a cooler foundation in order to wear it out and about.However, the coverage is really excellent and the scent is lovely- it feels a real treat putting this on in the morning.

I was given a sample of this as i wanted a foundation that covers well but glowy. I usually use matte foundations but now in my mid fifties needed some glow in my face. This foundation is stunning, i knew straight away that I was going to love it. I'm using b20 and it's a good colour match for spring summer when I have a light to medium fake tan. It softens my whole makeup and doesn't look cakey. Will buy full size bottle along with Ysl primer, blusher, concealer and mascara . The whole shebang.
