I love this bento box! i have used the plastic ones for 2 years now and the stainless steel is no much better. Easier to clean and the compartments are bigger. Its a little larger and it does not fit in all the generic insulated lunch bags but i bought the large one from Mini hippo and its excellent! Highly recommend.

Love this lunchbox and it's fantastic quality, however it is still unfortunately quite heavy like all Yumboxes which becomes a problem once you pack it full of food and put it in their schoolbags. Also the compartments are slightly odd shaped which makes them difficult to fill at times (eg. No straight sided section for sandwiches) but is fine if you're happy to chop things up small to fill spaces. Also I wish the dip/treat section was a little deeper and I feel like they've missed the mark there (even something such as a Malteser wouldn't fit there, and not a lot of dip). Kind of feels like another section I'll always struggle to use. But all in all a very good quality lunchbox and super easy to use and wash.

Really like the lunch box and compartments. The weight is given in the description so I should have known what to expect! But in a bag it is quite heavy, especially as a child’s lunchbox. It would be great if this came in a slightly smaller size for children.

I love the brand as my daughter has used one for years so I thought I’d buy one for me to use for work.It’s a bit huge, it seems like a missed opportunity cause there seems to be a huge waste of space as compartments could be bigger/better used, the centre circle with the star is largely unusable because it’s so small and narrow only a bit of sauce could fit in there.It’s a great brand and it’s sturdy, no leaks and great price but could’ve stuck closer to their traditional kids lunchbox

I do prefer the superior hardiness of stainless steel in lieu of the hard plastic its predecessor had; especially since having two young boys in primary school who most probably fling it halfway across the playground on a daily basis.My only small critique would be that the storage capacity seems just a little tad smaller than our previous yumbox bento; with that being said I’m whinging less that the kids haven’t eaten everything I’ve packed for them that day (probably a blessing for all involved).I hope the silicone under the lid stands the test of time; I know hand washing is always recommended but seriously like most time stretched parents we chuck ours in the ... MoreSo far, so good. I bought my 10 year old son one, he never eats his lunch. With this lunch box, l was able to add a bit of everything in it and now he is finally eating.l bought myself once too, in my job l dont stop for lunch, but l can nibble at my lunch box and helps me stick to my diet too (another positive)Highly recommended.
I love the box! The colours are beautiful, they are a lot deeper than other brands we’ve used in the past but they arrived on Thursday and we used them on Friday for our picnic… kids put the boxes down on the bench and they immediately scratched. The plastic used on the top is not hardy at all. One use and the boxes look old and worn already. It really is such a shame.Delivery times etc from this website were great. I know it’s a manufacturing fault.
The team at Adventure Snacks were fabulous in helping me work out which lunch box to pair with a new lunch bag. The Yumbox Presto is a great size for my 3yo who eats a lot! Initially opening the lunchbox was a little tricky for her but after the first few days of using it, the clip wore in a little and she can now open it with ease. Very happy!
I was very excited to receive the new Yumbox Presto Stainless Steel Bento, more so than my son who it was for. It fits a lot more in it than the original Yumbox (which we totally love and have been using since the kids were bubs). My son is now 7 and I find that I can put 2 sandwiches in there, along with whole fruits cut up. He has enjoyed taking just one lunchbox to school rather than one for lunch and one for morning tea. The quality is amazing and it's super easy to wash. I mostly hand wash and I think that is why my boxes have lasted so long. Will definitely be upgrading my daughter when she grows out of the original yumbox.
Love these boxes! They’re innovative and really thinking of the end consumer - my 6yo and 4yo use theirs at school and kindy and they aren’t gentle either. The stainless steel is more robust than our previous YumBoxes and I’m hoping they’ll last a bit longer too. Just wish the sauce tray was a little deeper.
