My child loves this toy, it’s very durable for the chaos that comes with playtime. Inside and outside it’s very good. Mobility is very nice. I wouldn’t change much just would add accessories for more imagination play or more characters in the line. We’re so excited to see the movie!! Thanks Mattel

With the new Buzz Lightyear movie comes a new line of Buzz Lightyear themed toys and this figure does not disappoint! The design is reminiscent of Buzz Lightyear from the original Toy Story films, but is also different enough to set itself apart from the original toys. This is a larger scale Buzz Lightyear figure with multiple points of articulation which makes it great for play or even for display. The packaging it comes in is beautiful with the backdrop of outer space. The attention to detail in this figure is great right down to the sculpt of texture in the figure's space suit and the beautiful paint job. Fans young and old will enjoy adding this to their collections. This figure is quite sturdy and should hold up to play very well.

I’m so impressed with the new Buzz Lightyear line from Mattel! The figures are lightweight (so if your little one drops or tosses one, it’s unlikely to be broken or cause damage to flooring, people or pets) and have an amazing range of movements. These little toys are so easy to manipulate into a variety of positions. The size is perfect for a variety of ages, including toddlers/preschoolers who do better gripping and manipulating larger toys/parts. Moms who prefer to have their kids provide their own sound effects for a more imaginative experience will note and appreciate the lack of sound (and accompanying buttons and batteries). Highly recommended.

Buzz is space ready in his hyper speed mission suit! The toy is durable and very well made, since Buzz is a large scale figure at 11.4 inches he is easy for little hands to grip onto. My kids loved that he is highly posable, it allows for maximum playability and it allows the kids to “act” out all kinds of action packed scenario’s. Buzz is movable at the head, hips, hands, arms near his shoulders, plus his ankles. Would have loved if it included some other characters or pieces but we will probably end up buying them anyways as they are sold separately.
I am blown away by this collection. The Buzz Lightyear figure is not your typical Buzz from Toy Story. We now have the story behind Buzz’s journey to save the world, and this figure helps to tell that story. I love the articulation! It’s very poseable, and easy for my boys to play with. The size is larger than the Toy Story 7”, but my kids didn’t have any problem with adding this new Buzz into their collection. Great value, excellent quality, and just all around awesome figure!
This is a large plastic figure. I like the detail. However it has a huge flaw. It is a pinching risk. The joints of the knees ,elbows move. I was handing the figure to my son after unboxing in it. When in pinched my hand in-between the knee joint. It did this to my son a few times as well when he was trying to play with it. I thought that the flexible joints where cool at first because they gave the figure more movability.
We love collecting in our family and this Buzz Lightyear action figure fits right in! The details are amazing in his flight suit. He can be posed in so many different ways. The size and durability are what you would expect from a Disney/Pixar product. It's about 12 inches tall and definitely has some weight to it! This action figure is not made of cheap plastic and will definitely stand up to tons of play time. Buzz now accompanies us on all car rides so he can have adventures wherever we are. My kids definitely want more large scale Lightyear action figures to battle. Did not disappoint as we gear up for the movie!
This action figure is extremely well-made! I was impressed by how easily Buzz can be posed, with multiple smooth-moving joints. Construction seems to be very durable, the toy is a good size, and there's wonderful attention to detail. I think this would make a great collector's item. The only drawback, for me, is that it didn't seem to hold my daughter's interest for very long. She probably would've preferred some additional accessories to spark more creative play.
My boys are so excited for the new Lightyear movie. It’s so fun to see the toys come out before the movie itself and try to piece together what might happen! They keep referring to this Buzz as the REAL Buzz Lightyear. This guy isn’t a toy! He’s the real deal! It’s really interesting to see Buzz without his iconic green and purple. This XL Buzz figure looks like an astronaut ready for anything in his traditional space suit. The pack in front is 3 dimensional and you can actually see one of the tabs is clicked on. You can see the Star Command badge right on it which is really neat! This Buzz comes fully jointed for realistic movements! You can even move his wrists and ankles, turn his head and waist. His hands are almost rubbery so he can hold things or hang on to ... MoreMy boys are so excited for the new Lightyear movie. This Buzz Lightyear figure is a nod to the past, not just because Lightyear is a backstory movie, but because of its simplicity, which encourages creative play and may remind you of when figures didn't have to come with tons of accessories and voiceboxes. Pure play and pure fun are what this toy is about. This Lightyear figure is highly flexible & posable, and easy to play with on its own or with the other toys from this line.
