I have owned one of these knives for over 20 years and it gets plenty of use in my kitchen. Not only for carving but I use it for slicing vegetables as well. I have even peeled potatoes and pumpkin with it on occasions. Highly recommended. Still sharpens and cuts superbly.

So far, so good. Wanted to treat myself to a good carving knife and ended up choosing this one. So no regret, I can’t ever remember having such a sharp knife, exactly what I wanted. Fair price, prompt delivery.
I have had this knife for a few months. Bought it thru Bed Bath and Beyond. The price was right and their service was great. Was sent right to the house and I couldn't be any more happy about the knife or the service of BBB. This is the second knife I ordered from Wusthof and would recommend anyone that cooks at home to re-think the quality that this company has to offer for the long run. This knife is so superior to anything I have had before. Wish I had purchased these knives years ago.

Lost mine in a divorce this summer and I miss it! Price is ghastly, but it's an excellent knife. Sturdy and holds an edge well. Dishwasher safe, even though you probably shouldn't.
