Great pantry back up. This is a great product to have on hand in the pantry and at a good price too. I used this long life milk in three ways. The first was as a simple glass of milk, the second in a bowl of cereal, and the third in custard. The Woolies UHT Lite Milk is easy to find. I like the different colours of the cartons so easy to grab either full cream, lite or skim. The price is reasonable but it is very close to non-homebrand brands so I suppose it doesn't really entice someone to purchase the Woolies one over a brand?The taste is fine. It smells like UHT milk and it has that slight UHT taste to it. UHT milks have really changed over the decades, they used to be torture to the point where UHT cows milk tasted worse than UHT soy milk!Anywho, the Woolies UHT Lite Milk isn't very creamy and it doesn't froth too well for my own personal needs. It creates an okay froth for a cappuccino, having less fat it does make it easier to steam (less fat means it is harder to stuff up) and creates large bubbles and more foam which is fine for a cap, but if you want a nice thick creamy glossy consistency then you really need to stick to full fat milk as you need that fat content to create a perfect latte or flat white. The Lite Milk doesn't have that creamy texture in your mouth when it has been frothed up and for me that just doesn't make me happy as when I am indulging in my piccolo latte with double ristretto, no sugar, I want to appreciate the glossy texture of the milk and feel like I am sipping on a decadent creamy dessert. As a milk to drink I personally would recommend the Woolies UHT Lite Milk, it doesn't float my boat and I really tell I am drinking a UHT milk. I would only recommend it if you are using it to be heated or steamed or in cooking/baking. I personally am a fan of Devondale Pure Full Cream milk for UHT milk. It is the only one at Woolies that tastes almost like milk and at $1. 45 p/l it is only $0. 25 p/l more than the Woolies one. My partner is really fussy with his milks to the point that I actually buy different brands. I favour Maleny Full Cream or Pauls Farmhouse whilst he is all for Woolies or Coles homebrand full cream (for once he has cheaper taste than myself). But we can both agree on Devondale being the best UHT milk out there on the consumer market. So if you are looking for a UHT milk and well need the less fat for some personal reason then I guess try this milk out, it isn't that bad but I personally would never use it for commercial usage. Anyway, fresh is always best so try to stick to that!

Lite with little compromise. Iāve recently made the switch from full cream to lite milk for my coffees. Glad I chose this milk to try as it retains the majority of the taste without the fat. Iāve kept buying this for nearly a month now and wonāt bother going back to full cream. Of course there is a minor compromise in flavour when comparing to full cream, but the health benefits outweigh and this milk still satisfies!

Convenient and tastes ok. Easy to find in store and I do like the full glass of milk on the front of the pack. I must admit, I donāt like the taste of long life milk. Iām assuming it takes on the taste from the pack as they all seem to have the same taste to them. On bringing this home I popped it in the fridge as I planned to make a smoothie. I had stewed some plums a bit too long and made them more into a jam so had popped small bags into the freezer to use for deserts. Ice cream always takes a smoothie to another level and I popped a banana in too. I did taste the milk straight from the pack and whilst it did have the pack taste, it was not overpowering. In summary, if you buy or need a long life milk this would be a very good choice. Whilst itās not for me, I really enjoyed my smoothie. One thing I was surprised by was the automatic cutting of the seal when you opened the plastic cap. Whilst a great āease of use innovationā unfortunately it doesnāt allow you to check that it had not been tampered with. Update: I was thinking about the seal and if it doesnāt leak when you pick it up, the seal must be intact. A little squeeze will give you peace of mind
A useful pantry staple. UHT milk is such a great pantry staple. We normally use UHT skim milk but I was able to use this in cooking and there was no difference. I made a magic custard cake with this, our kids loved it, even took it to school for recess. We find 1 litre is a perfect size for our household (lots of kids) as it avoids having spilt milk, which often happens with the larger milk bottles.
Back up MILK option. This product is good to have in the cupboard as a back up milk option. Which came in handy this week when we ran out of milk. However both hubby and I don't enjoy the lite milk. It makes our coffee taste unusual as we are not used to the watered down milk. I had a mouthful of it by itself and didn't enjoy it. I do like the container and the lid. Unscrew and screw back on keeping your milk fresh. If I was to buy this product as a back up or if I needed to change my milk choices I would go for full cream milk. On the label I read that this product is not suitable for children under the age of 2 years old. Recycle Crush and recycle the carton and place lid back on. Product made in Australia

Good Pantry Staple. This is a great pantry staple for me. Iām not a milk drinker but do like some with my morning coffee and this does the trick. I like the fact that itās lower in calories yet still retains that milky goodness flavour more so than skim does. It has an easy to open screw top & closes well for storing in the fridge. Itās definitely great to have on hand in the pantry as it has a long use by date until opening. Great long lasting milk. Woolworths Uht Lite Milk we buy a carton most times as value is fine and donāt need to be refrigerated. We place a couple in fridge when we need to use them the taste is great. We have in our coffee and cereal also use in mash potatoes or anything else you can thing of. Great if you going camping or a long drive. Would recommend to everyone and will always buy this milk always plenty in stores.
