We play tennis on a volleyball court with pickle ball lines and net. For the past two years we have used Penn QST 36 balls. Those balls last two to three hours of continuous play. However, they start to deteriorate after 45 minutes or so.We played with the Wilson Starter Foam ball today and weβre impressed with its playing characteristics. Serves have more pop and slices have more grip on the ground.Overall, this ball provides a great challenge for ball control and I believe improves the transition to regular tennis.

For some unknown reason, Wilson appears to have changed the quality of these balls from what was previously manufactured. These new balls are smaller, more dense and bounce only half as high as their previous design which had a red circle with the "W" in reverse. Not sure why they made this change, but we will be returning our order and hoping they revert back to the old manufacturing standards of the previous foam ball. These are not up to par for our program.

Easy to hit and goes farther than you would think. Can be played on a court if not windy. Basically a great ball for a 4-6 yr old to get comfortable with. Also use them to play baseball.
