I saw a tiktok about mixing molasses with milk to create some healthy iron and other mineral rich drink. They said it tasted like cookie dough. Being lower on iron than I'd like, I impulsviely decided to give it a go. It doesn't taste like cookie dough. I couldn't finish more than a few mouthfuls. And the health warnings I found around taking molasses were a bit scary. So I would recommend doing some research before commiting. I don't know if this review is super fair though. It isn't a reflection of this brand's specific product necessarily, so much as molasses in general. Although maybe molasses and milk does taste like cookie dough and this one just has poor quality flavour. I'm not sure.

This came in a very nice plastic bottle that couldn't break during shipment. That was the first test passed. I like to make Boston baked beans and also barbecue beans. Here in Japan, there is a product that is somewhat like molasses but it lacks the flavors this one has. It is delicious. It is unsulphured though (if you are used to that sulphury taste, you won't get it). But really, it made for great baked bean dishes. And I also like it on my pancakes--better than maple syrup for me.

It's not easy to find molasses, so I was thrilled to find this organic and unsulphured molasses. It's the best out there from what I could find. I use it in my water kefir, and will be working on some recipes to use it too. Molasses is the highly nutritious part of sugar that they extract, so where you can add molasses back in to get the nutrients that refined sugars remove. I love this company's products, and order many other of their sugars. I'm so happy iHerb carries their molasses! I bought two bottles to have one in stock, even though you use so little at a time because it's highly concentrated. Will definitely order again in the future.

I bought molasses on a friend's recommendation. Her nutritionist suggested it because it's an additional source of iron, and both of us have low iron levels. To me, it tastes too sweet and has a very specific flavor. Adding it to tea is not to my liking, and I probably won't have it with tea either. I looked into different ways to use molasses and think I might try making marinades, particularly for beef. I might also add a teaspoon to smoothies and will start with that. Additionally, any product you add molasses to will take on darker brownish shades. So, if the visual aspect of your dish is important, please keep that in mind. I probably won't buy it again because it's very specific to my taste. Honestly, I just hope to finish this jar and not buy a new one.
I really liked this.I have a little anemia which i think has contributed to the vertigo i was suffering with. I had a 2 teaspoons of this one night and i felt a bit better and went to bed. I have some once every few days. My brother had it in warm water like a tea and enjoyed it too. The taste is not bad at all. Molasses is really new to my world so i'm thankful stuff like this exists and I can take instead of medicine. Thank you to those who recommended this through their comments.
I got this to make gingerbread cookies this winter and was so happy to see it came in a huge bottle! This will last a long time! In typical molasses fashion, it was hard to mix evenly into the batter since it’s so thick but I think that’s just a matter of practice. When I worked at Starbucks we’d have molasses for seasonal drinks and would always warm it up so it could be drizzled easily on top of drinks. I had forgotten that when I used it to bake so I’ll try to remember next time and hopefully it’ll be easier to work with. But all in all no issues!

The composition is very syrupy and sticky so be careful when pouring it out. It won't impact your diet too much as a little goes a long way. Use it for cookies, baked beans, BBC sauces, gingerbread cookies and marinades. Frequency of use is as often as you like. This molasses is of the highest quality.
