Whole Earth Smooth Peanut Butter 1 kg

Has salt and Palm oil which is bad for you. So annoyed, the brand whole earth should do better as it implies or suggests that this is a good alternative. It has the same percentage of peanuts as your regular brands and sunpat! Whats the point in spending the extra coin!

Good to buy in bulk

Its very handy to have a big tub of this good quality peanut butter. I used to get Asda's own no sugar jar but there are NO Asda brand nut butters on the website anymore so people are being forced to buy more expensive ones. No choice for those who are shielding. Shame on you Asda.

Great for making my dog treats

I use this peanut butter to make my 4 fur babies their peanut butter, oats and blueberry dog treats. I know this peanut butteris safe for dogs, some aren't. My 4 and my neighbours 4 dogs love this. I think it is very good quality at a good price

Great value, tubs often break

Love this peanut butter, and love being able to buy in bulk. But, the last three tubs have all split before we?ve finished, then they leak oil everywhere. The smaller quantity ones are glass, so I?ve reverted to those for now.

I'm hooked!

I love this peanut butter, so much so that concern has been expressed regarding my eating peanut butter for at least two of my daily meals some time! Haha It's so good! And thank god it comes in a kilo tub :) it does have added salt and sustainable palm oil it but I have low blood pressure so salt in the morning is part of my routine and this on toast is perfect. They ran out of stock a couple of weeks ago so I bought the meridian kilo tub, I have to say I've been disappointed, it tastes nice but the meridian version is much more oily and actually sloppy and liquid because there's so much oil. This whole earth product is so much better and I'm going straight back to it in my next shop!

Love peanut butter!

I regularly buy this large tub of peanut butter. It's quite firm in texture but spreads easily, especially on hot toast! Love the taste, it's not too sweet.

Not too Sweet

I sometimes buy this peanut butter as it uses sustainable palm oil sources. It's also got a nice texture and not too sweet, so I feel like it's a bit healthier for my kids. On the down side, I think it's a bit pricier than other peanut butters and can be tricky to spread, but otherwise I really like Whole Earth peanut butter.

Whole Earth Smooth Peanut Butter 1kg (2 x 1kg)

Ive been buying this peanut butter for a while but usually in glass jars. Decided to get a bigger tub of it but unfortunately, about halfway through the peanut butter started to dry out completely. The lid is always closed afterwards and its stored in a cool cupboard, so its nothing to do with how I kept it. The smell of palm oil was also quite heavy.

delicious

I buy this peanut butter frequently - it much nicer than the Sunpat I used to buy. It's not as sweet, but I didn't realise that is a good thing! It just tastes so yummy. As previous reviewer said, it does contain palm oil (whether sustainable or not, poor orangutans loose their homes for palm oil) and yes it isn't 'good for us' but if you're consuming enough of this peanut butter per day to be worried about the type of oil isn't good for us, then you really should re-think your peanut butter consumption! It's always better to make your own peanut butter, tastes delicious and you are in control of the ingredients, but I always have a tub of this in the cupboard as it's so convenient. Recommended.

lightly salted and very thick

I find the consistency of this peanut butter just a little thicker than I would like, but appreciate that there is some salt added, which does enhance peanut flavour in my opinion. Not too happy to see palm oil. I will revert to the no-palm-oil brand much of the time for the consistency, but that one is not salted. First world problems, I suppose.
