I have been using Manuka honey for years now. So far found the best price at Healthy Planet when it goes on sale. It has done wonders in improving my immune system. Recently I had stubborn eczema show up which I couldn't get rid of with anything. I think the local raw honey I started taking recently aggravated the eczema/inflammation even more. Two days ago I applied Manuka honey, and the skin with eczema is almost healed. Yes, so happy, I shall stick to manuka honey only going forward. Local raw honey might have GMO pollen. So worth using Manuka honey, even if it's pricier than other honey- best investment is in our health :)

This is my go to Manuka for taste and quality. I always grab it when it's on sale, which is even better. I've managed to stave off colds for years by taking this stuff daily in combination with Vitamin C. Highly recommend.

The dermatologist said she would have to bear with the bacterial infection that would likely persist for years until she was old enough to take harsh antibiotics at 8 years-old. The only medication the dermatologist would prescribe at that point was a cortisone cream which would likely ruin my young daughter’s skin. Having done loads of research on alternative ways to treat perioral dermatitis, I found Manuka honey was a possible cure. Sure enough, after my daughter took two teaspoons a day for two weeks, the dermatitis receded. It did return less aggressively a few months later so we repeated the regimen and again it receded. I like having Manuka in my house as a go to in case of illness. I also give my dogs the honey as well. The only problem with the honey is I love the taste so much that I just want to eat it.It is also great to put the honey on cuts or sores for fast healing.
I really like this honey! Because of cost i use it more as my medicine to give me a boost when feeling low or to soothe a sore throat or when symptoms. For my tea i generally use a less expensive brand but if cost isnt a consideration this brand is worth it every day. I wait for a sale. 😉
I am a big fan of honey and I got this one mainly for boosting my immune system. High grade honey are expensive. But after some research and (price) comparison, I've decided on this honey. For few a reasons: It has a pretty high KFactor (16), it's raw, and the price is reasonable compared to other high grade honeys (high grade honeys are quite expensive). There are many ways you can take honey. Here are a few of the many ways I consume honey. I put it in my lemon water (sometimes with a dash of cayenne pepper in it) or on days I don't have lemon, I just take a spoon full of it first thing when I wake up, before I eat anything, or I mix about a tbsp with some lukewater and drink that before I eat any food.
