I bought this bra on a bit of a whim as I am really fed up on underwire bras and the discomfort they give me.I really like it, its super sexy (even nicer than it looks in the pic) and actually gives pretty good support for something that looks a little flimsy. Plus a nice rounded shape under clothes.I must admit I haven't washed it yet and I am sceptical as to how it will fare so I might put it on a delicate wash.Only minor criticism (and wonder if this could be improved from a design perspective?) is that the lovely elongated lace part under the bust immediately rolls up when you move about. This is more annoying from an aesthetic point of view rather than comfort as the lace looks so pretty when you first put it on, but it rolls up the second you ... MoreI bought this bra on a bit of a whim as I am really fed up on underwire bras and the discomfort they give me.I really like it, its super sexy (even nicer than it looks in the pic) and actually gives pretty good support for something that looks a little flimsy. This bra is a game changer! I will no longer wear wired bras. This does the job and looks great under all my tops. I have both colours and will definitely buy more in the future. I am usually a 32 but the 34 is perfect.

I find it hard to find bras that fit my saggy 32D boobs well, but recently stumbled upon a Wacoal bra on a sale rail (different style) that fitted perfectly and made me look further at the brand. I was doubtful about the bralettes as my previous experience of bralettes has been that if they have a small enough back, the cups are never big enough, or if they are, they offer absolutely no support whatsoever.I took a chance to try this on in John Lewis and was very pleasantly surprised. Size wise, I could probably do with a 33 as the 32 is snug when done up on the loosest hook and the cups are the tiniest bit small, but the 34 needed to be done on the tightest hook and the cups a little bit big. I went for the smaller size as I expect it will give a little with ... MoreI find it hard to find bras that fit my saggy 32D boobs well, but recently stumbled upon a Wacoal bra on a sale rail (different style) that fitted perfectly and made me look further at the brand. I'm over the moon as for ages I've wanted a bralette pretty enough to wear under strappy or low tops which I wouldn't mind showing a little and this is perfect. I plan to buy in the nude too and would love to see it in some other colours.I also bought the matching pants which are a lovely fit and very comfy.

I have a few wacoal bras and panties. They are pretty and comfortable. Thought I'd opt for a non-wired light weight bra for summer. It's recommended you buy your usual size which I did, along with the matching briefs. I'm normally 34c but unfortunately I found that the stretchy lace would not stay put over my bust. Because the bra is comfortable I only realised I was somewhat exposed when I looked down! This bra is probably better for more petite ladies. The panties are very comfortable and fit well.
Whenever I don't feel like wearing an underwire bra, I go straight for this bra/bralette. I love lace and I love bralettes, but it seems like most lace bralettes are see-through, which limits how You can wear them. I love that this bra/bralette has a cloth backing on most of the cup so that the cups aren't see-through. The band sizing and back clasp also make this more adjustable than most bralettes while keeping the same flirty nature. I'm a 32DD/30E and the 32 fits both my ribcage and breasts fairly well. I generally wear it with the hook clasped into a crossback because otherwise it is slightly too tight on my breasts, and that way I'm positive the straps won't fall (not that this as ever been an issue in this bra). It's also decently supportive - I wouldn't jog ... MoreWhenever I don't feel like wearing an underwire bra, I go straight for this bra/bralette. The lace is lovely and comfortable not itchy at all, nice and soft. I followed other review and went a a size bigger, usually a 32 and selected 34 which was the right decision as butting for comfort. I am usually a DD and the cups are small I would say, bra is not massively supportive as you'd expect with this style but fine for home and ok running errands with a sweatshirt 100% not under T shirts for me
So I was really excited about getting this bra. I normally wear like 32C, and I am a not very well endowed person (I really don't have curves). Anyways, the sizing chart was a bit vague for me so I just ordered 32. It was WAY too small, I couldn't close the straps. I had to return and order a size up. I got the 34 in today and tried it and it just barely fits. So I am faced with the choice of trying to wear it and stretch it out, or return it and pay once again for shipping for the second return. So it has been too complicated of an experience. I will give points to Bare Essentials though, in that they do make returns easy to ship back. So I do appreciate that. I just wish the sizing was a little more clear. It makes me wary to order anything else.
I have always worn underwires bras. Inspired by someone wearing bralets on instagram I was sceptical about the level of support. In my local store the lingerie assistant was so so helpful. I walked out with this bra in nude and black and I am ordering another nude online now. Love the fact that it can be worn in racer back style!
Unfortunately I followed the reviews and sized up and it's a bit too big in the cup for me. It is also not padded (not obvious from the photo!) and my sad little bee stings just don't look good in it. Think this bra is more for the fuller bust. However, on the plus side it is very pretty and very comfortable so I'm disappointed it's not for me!
I am so disappointed in the sizing for this bra, the design and material are wonderful but they are SO small. I ordered a 38 and needed a 40 or 42 which aren't on the JL website. Very upset given the great price but I'm sure they were on sale for this reason. I'd recommend sizing up at least one size.
