So we were excited to receive this & couldn't wait to try it out. While there are a few different ways according to the outside of this box for this to be used as karaoke fun what wasn't included was some directions really explaining how the unit worked & what all the buttons mean so they might want to start there. While you can Bluetooth to a device like your phone which displays a code on the unit so you can "hook up" It can also go to your local radio stations though not all stations came in clear. Only 1 microphone comes with this device & has a spot on the backside for storing. Has capability for 2 but i guess you need to purchase another mic separately. Something to consider as well. Also the volume only seems to go so high on this unit which could be improved ... MoreSo we were excited to receive this & couldn't wait to try it out. The Little disco light at top is cute. The voice changing robotic voice is kind of nice. The handle to carry it is on the top right side of the unit. Unit is not heavy & for easy transporting. All in all we did have some fun with it during the holidays once we figured out how to work it best for us. Made a new fun thing that brought the family together

I am so excited to try this product from vtech. I could not wait to try this machine for myself and I definitely love it . Please make sure that you put fresh batteries in the machine. I love the little disco lights effect. My teenager try it out with me and she loves it. It comes with one mic but you are able to connect a second one and since we love karaoke we have extra microphones so that's a plus for us. Easy to connect to our phone and the led display light come in handy if using in the dark. We plan on using for our Christmas party. Great quality and very light. I love that is portable so road trip here we come. Fun for all ages honestly as long as there is an adult around.

I am a little bit torn about this review. My kids are super excited about the Super Sound Karaoke machine but I had some issues making it work.My kids wanted to try it out immediately after it arrived because it looks so fun.A big plus was that it came with the 6 needed AAA batteries and a microphone and that it was ready to go!The downside was that it did not come with an instructions booklet. I do appreciate the effort to safe on paper but unfortunately the included link to get the instructions online did not work. The Vtech webpage just showed an oops sorry sign with no help.I thought how hard can it be and we turned it on to figure out how it works. Right away we were greeted by a friendly voice and a fun light. You can turn the light off if it is too ... MoreI am a little bit torn about this review. Right away we were greeted by a friendly voice and a fun light. You can turn the light off if it is too much but my kids loved it.We pushed some buttons and had a lot of fun but I feel that I couldn’t figure out most options. I don’t know how to chose the vocal warm up activities or how to use my own music and get the microphone working.Nevertheless it’s a great little machine that provided hours of fun and will be even better if I can get the guide.
Out of the box, it was easy to put in new batteries and turn on. That said, I wish it came with better instructions. It took us a little time to figure out how to use it but it was fun to experiment. We used it with the radio and it gets pretty good reception. It works with bluetooth which works great with my phone. It comes with one microphone but it looks like you can hook up two which will be fun to sing together. There's colored lights and applause sound effects for a party atmosphere, singing effects and voice changer. The kids really like it and we are looking forward to lots of singing fun!
This karaoke boombox is super cute! We love to hear our girls sing and just be silly. The features are so cool, you can change your voice to different once like robot voice among others. It has an actual radio to listen to your local am/fm. Also you can connect to wifi and listen to your music on there and karaoke away. We have an extra microphone at home so we do duos and we love karaoke night. Super easy for my girls to use. They are six, ten, and twelve and they love it! We all enjoy it! Very well recommended. It has a handle, and also the light turns on like a disco ball. You can also insert an SD card.
This karaoke machine is adorable and fun! Love the various audio inputs and Bluetooth connection makes it really convenient. My 9yo daughter's favorite feature is the voice changer (I prefer the singing! :)). It's lightweight with a built-in handle, making it super portable. The microphone snaps into the back so everything is contained. It's nice to have separate volume dials for overall/ master and microphones, though we wish the microphone volume could be louder. We have a proper karaoke machine that has a more fiddly setup. I love how quick and easy it is for anyone to get set up and start singing.
The VTech SuperSound Karaoke Machine has been great for my 13 and 9 year old girls. This compact little karaoke machine has really surprised me by the quality, functionality, and performance it brings to the table to be a “toy”. My 13 year old is in choir and this machine has helped in giving the option of having a “vocal coach” and also the ability to have a sing along with you or as backup. It will connect to a phone or tablet via Bluetooth for music and also has FM radio. The sound is clear and you can play around with several sound effects such as “echo” on it. A microphone comes with the machine and there is a jack that you can plug a second mic (not included) up to or plug a phone into via aux cord. There is a party light on top that will light up a bedroom ... MoreThe VTech SuperSound Karaoke Machine has been great for my 13 and 9 year old girls. We’re loving our VTech® SuperSound Karaoke™ ! The whole stereo design is genuis ! And the connection to Bluetooth is so user friendly. All you do is click the Bluetooth symbol on the vtech karaoke machine and on the lcd you will provide you or your child with the code to connect and after that your ready to sing your heart out, it’s that easy! You will get 6 Included batteries to start this bad boy up and a mic to sing away but only thing that isn’t included is a dc plug since that is an accessory to be purchased separately but I love that it’s an option. So if you don’t plan on buying batteries after batteries just grab a dc plug and plug this baby in and sing for hours. The strobe lights make this vtech machine so much more fun and definitely makes the kids get to ... MoreWe’re loving our VTech® SuperSound Karaoke™ ! The whole stereo design is genuis ! Well folks VTech has done it again. This Karaoke machine is fantastic, and my kids absolutely love it! The unit is made of plastic as one would expect but it is solid and no worries of chipping or cracking. The sound quality is great, and they love the "strobe" light, it is one of the highlights of their "song and dance parties". As mom, I enjoy the variety of audio sources. Bluetooth enabled means that they can stream their current favorites right from their tablet and there is no extra "work" to get them set up. It is very simple to use so showing them once was good enough, now they set it up and get down to the fun. The voice effects are entertaining. The smaller size of this unit is appealing as well. The minimal space it takes up and the lightweight structure makes cleaning it up a breeze, the kids can easily move it about the room with no help, meaning they can clean up after themselves after their "party" comes to an end. My only negative about this is that it is battery powered. My kids have played with this a lot and batteries are expensive.
