VTech Sit-to-Stand Learning Walker (Frustration Free Packaging), Lavender (Amazon Exclusive)

I had this one with all four of my kids. This walker is truly amazing. I love that the wheels adjust from first time walkers to experienced walkers. My little ones also loved all the lights, sounds and music that plays on the toy. The toy can be removed from the walker to provide additional play time. Loved this one - only downside is the phone usually goes missing from these walkers. I wish they would connect it somehow - currently once it is off it can easily get lost.

This sit and stand Walker is great at encouraging your child to sit up and play and explore the interactive things on the front of the walker (buttons/phone/piano keys/etc). It makes different sounds and lights up. There are locks on the back wheels to make it more stable when needed. The front activity board is removable for solo play if desired. The walker encourages first steps while providing a pretty sturdy support. It is wide enough to not be tippy, though it can cruise on hard floors. Carpet is best with this for just starting but it is the best walker we have tried.

My son took his first steps using this walker. Before that he loved playing with all of the front toy features. He loves music so this would entertain him forever with the songs that it plays. The speed adjusting wheels also helped since we have hard wood floors that can make walkers move quickly.

My daughter loves this! She started using it when she was about 5-6 months and I feel this had helped her walking massively! She’s now 10 months old and walking without it! I feel this definitely helped! It also sings along and is very interactive. She still loves playing with it. Would definitely recommend for a baby starting to walk!

My niece has this learning walker used it a lot to stand because it has brakes to keep it from moving. She played with the activities a lot once she was ready to walk she used this to walk around more easily because there are 2 levels it can be pushed. There's a slower level to help keep them upright when walking an advanced level that there's no resistance so they can run freely. Also the activity set can fold so she can play when sitting down too.

My son LOVES this walker. He is able to take his first steps and learn how to walk with it. He loves playing the with toys on the front. My favorite part is the speed adjust on the wheels. This makes it a superior walker compared to others because it makes it safer and a little slower, thus making it easier for baby to use to learn to walk.

My LO loved to open and shut the door. Loved to hit the cow and hear the 'moo moo' sounds.- The rolling rattle on the bottom is also great for keeping a small baby entertained.- This toy can be used starting when your baby is able to sit up all the way up to the baby learning to stand and walk.- There are two settings to control the speed of the walker (however, we have never used more than one which is the slowest - We have used this walker on hardwood floors - you might want to use the faster setting if using on carpet)- The musical unit will keep your LO entertained for hours!CONS:- I feel that this the grip on the tires could be improved upon. We have had a couple falls, not really bad ones, and while I understand that kids fall and hurt themselves, its not fun when your LO is attempting to stand with the walkers help and the walker slips and runs away. A little more traction could have helped even at the slowest settings - It would help is the manufacturer could add a silicon band or something on the tires to help with the use on hardwood flooring.- It interlocking gears are a little difficult for the babies to play with.- The small phone is just asking to be lost. :)The walker is really cool but it could do with a few improvements. Also, the first picture on the listing probably shows the older version of this toy which provided a few different things than is provided in this newer version. The older model had numbers from 1 to 5 on the keyboard, this is not the same with the newer model where these have been replaced by the musical sounds. Also, there were fruits on the triangle, circle and square buttons , these have been replaced by numbers 1, 2 and 3. The farm door was different. Another thing thats different is the the rattles on the bottom. The older version had 3 rattles, the newer one has two, the one in the middle has been replaced by a sticker. I was really hoping to get the older model when I brought this product but settled for the newer version. Had this product been for me I would have rated this at 2 stars but since my LO liked to play with it so much, I never ended up returning it. LO is now almost 17 months old and no longer plays with the walker, but it was definitely one of those things that held her interest for a good while.All in all, this was much better than the other walkers we tried. The other name brand walker we purchased was no where in comparison to this walker. Please note - pediatricians now recommend not using a walker, I feel if you are constantly watching over your LO this is probably the safest walker and the most fun walker out there - minus the differences in the older and the newer models. You can probably get a couple of thicker rubber bands and put them on the rear wheels to help with traction.

The colors, shapes, and sound are great and it's a fun toy to play with, just be aware of the safety hazard when using as a walking aid. We purchased one of these for our daughter and I have safety concerns for babies who are just learning to pull up and/or walk. The wheels, even in the beginner mode, move way too fast for babies who are just learning to walk. The device also has absolutely no safety feature for children who don't quite have their balance as it tips backward too easily. Our daughter has taken a few falls that could've easily been prevented if there were some sort of safety feature to prevent it from tipping backward. This morning she lost her balance while playing with her toy and when the toy started to fall back with her, she pushed forward in an attempt to regain her balance but because the wheels have no grip and move so fast, she fell forward leaving a nasty bruise on her forehead. We have since taken the activity toy off of the walker portion and will only allow her to play with the toy portion from now on. There needs to be a warning on the box that this is not intended as a walking aid for babies who are just learning to walk, or there needs to be an additional piece added to the rear wheels to prevent the device from tipping over in the event that the child pulls back on it. This toy, as it is, has the potential to cause significant injury.

My son is 11 months old and can stand up on her own. I was looking for a walker that had good reviews and seemed safe. We have hardwood Floors and the option for “slower” works perfectly. She hasn’t had any falls and loves walking around with it. The sounds the toy makes it not obnoxious and gets her attention. Overall this is one of my best / favorite purchases for my daughter and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a walker / toy for their baby learning to walk.
