VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch DX3, Pink

Comes very nicely packaged and must say my daughter was absolutely ecstatic when she saw the box. Having played with a similar watch from a few generations ago, there are actually some nice improvements here over and above the already great features and interaction already built into this line of watches. The new flashlight on the watch especially peaked the interest of my daughter as she walked around and looked to photograph everything again. The included camera is also fun for little dancing clips and was also fun to see my daughter walking around audio blogging everything. Also have the ability to pull the videos and pictures from the device to collate or to put together into other projects. In terms of cons, the only one would be that they still havent changed ... MoreComes very nicely packaged and must say my daughter was absolutely ecstatic when she saw the box. But otherwise, this is a great and fun way to let your kids have something that they can document their adventures with. Would say if youre in the market for one, this is a pretty good bet and comes highly recommended from our family.

I got this for my 8 years old daughter. She likes it.The watch looks nice, with so many functions for kids. It has dual camera, with very low quality but nevertheless, enough for the kid. The Led light is one of the best thing, a kid may use, specially for my daughter something good! Kids can also play some preinstalled games, I am not sure if more games would be possible to install but the already installed ones are not that bad and boring. The battery is good at least for a day to live with and it can be charged with the cable provided. For the kids, its always important to order something which lasts longer, and should be shockproof and this watch is good when it comes to splash proof. the only thing which is not allowing me to give 5 star is the price, I mean I ... MoreI got this for my 8 years old daughter. Before he goes to school, he always makes sure to remember to wear the watch and it captures his attention for the 2 weeks that hes used it. Moreover, the watch is rechargeable and I expect the battery to last 2-3 years before we begin to see a reduction in battery performance, similar to smartphones and smartwatches. Its too bad the watch doesnt have Bluetooth functionality because it would have been nice to connect it to my laptop and transfer photos, update content or download new content.

The first thing about this is that it cannot be connected to the the internet or bluetooth. I assume this is their way of making sure the watch content is secure. There is no tracking on the watch and this is solely just an ipod touch minus wifi in a watch is my best way to putting it. The design of the watch is pretty simple. It tries to mimic a smart watch with the addition of a camera. It has a few games on the watch and you can upload more on the computer. Nothing extremely fancy, it is essentially just basic math games and such. It will keep them relatively entertained for at least 30 minutes at a time although I am sure the games could get old for them real quick. There are two cameras for this watch. It will keep them relatively entertained for at least 30 minutes at a time although I am sure the games could get old for them real quick. There are two cameras for this watch. One is a front facing camera that is okay for normal pictures. It honestly does not take the best quality picture but at least there is an option. The other is on the side to make it easy to capture photos. It also comes with a flash / LED light next to the side camera. The outer material is a bit easy to scratch up but as you are giving this to a kid it will most likely get scratched up either way. It is not gorilla glass or anything. The band fits pretty much any kid that I can tell. There are no band replacements that I know of which is a bit of a downer. It has modes to essentially put it into quiet mode so they cannot use the watch during class. The responsiveness of the watch is pretty good. It is very simple commands. The charging port is is just a simple USB port. The battery life is pretty good. You can probably get about two days before you need to recharge depending on what you are using it for. If the kids are playing game on it, it may reduce the power. My nephew wore it for a full day and it drained about 50 or so percent. You can also set alarms for your kids on the watch. This is a great way to keep your kids productive. The application is simple and works well. The box it comes in can also be used as a simple storage case. It is made of hard p.

Charging port stopped working within 3mo

We purchased this watch for my son's Christmas present. While he loved the watch, the charging port stopped working within 3 months, despite trying multiple charging cords and powering on and off in every possible way. It seems that there is a battery connection that is faulty or cheap. Now we are unsure how to get his videos and pictures off the camers. He's super dissapointed. Unfortunately, Vtech will not replace the item because its just past the 3 mo warrenty. You may get 3 months of use out of this toy, but not much more.

Cute little kids smartwatch

Only negative I say is the packaging. Horrible to get the bugger open. And I felt like I would snap the watch bands taking it off its stand the first time out of boxOk all the good things. It comes with its own watch stand and enclosed display case which is nice when not using it. The band is sturdy but soft on the wrist. Display has vibrant colors and light up nicely. The apps on it are basic but fun for little kids. My kiddo loves the little clock faces you can change. Super easy to use. The "apps"are nice and easy for kids to use. And it does take decent pics for a kids toy. Super fast charging it up too and lasts a long time, at least my little ones watch does. It also has a master on and off switch that you can turn off if it won't be in use in a while too. ... MoreOnly negative I say is the packaging. Horrible to get the bugger open. Didn’t work, junk can’t purchase batteries either!

Junk do not buy it! I bought this August 25,2022 for my daughters main Christmas present, it was brand new in an unopened box and when she opened it on Christmas Day it did not work! The battery was defective and I was unable to return because I bought it early. I contacted the manufacturer and they would not do anything because it has been to long. I should have opened it and tried it after buying it, I figured it would actually work, this was my daughters main Santa gift! She was extremely disappointed, and so were we. You cannot purchase batteries for this watch either! So we were out 100% of the our money! I have to shop early every year, otherwise my 5 kids would not have Christmas presents to open!

Handy gadget

Watch and fun center built into one

This watch is a great little gadget for little ones to help them feel like a little adult. They can swipe and adjust their watch just like they see us grown ups doing.Changing watch faces and learning time, playing games to keep occupied on long car trips, and also measuring steps and activity through the day. Really fun features like the camera on the front allow for some silly kid selfies and pics. Also your little one can feel like a spy as they use the built in flashlight on their watch to light up the darkness. My little ones has been enjoying her watch. I feel that this watch can be a good learning tool and activity time gadget. It is a bit bulky and can look gigantic on even my 8 year olds wrist.

Worst company and product!

If I could give this thing zero stars I would ! This company is ridiculous! I got this watch a few months before my daughters bday. After opening it and charging it worked for 10 minutes! Never turned back on again no matter what we did. After calling vtech and talking to two different people they wouldn’t do anything to make this right because I was out of the warranty window. So because I was on top of it and got a present for someone ahead of time it’s somehow my fault that they made a defective product. After doing research I found lots of people saying they had this problem! Does that matter to them, absolutely not! I have gave vtech sooo much money over the years but I will never again buy anything vtech! My whole family is so upset by this that they have said ... MoreIf I could give this thing zero stars I would ! This company is ridiculous! I got this watch a few months before my daughters bday.
