Out of curiosity, about half a kilo from my house, I completely deflated both tires and rode the rest of the way home. Definitely wouldn't bomb turns like this but they got me home fine. Almost like a run flat system.

Almost like a run flat system.
Easy to install, but the special valves are just too short and extenders are sleeves so you cannot complete the seal. I use a regular valve but after the foam compresses it seals the tree so you cannot let air ou to remove the tyre. Longer valve options would solve this 80mm & 100mm would be ideal.

Excellent product-but weighs more than advertised-8oz for 25.5 large size-on a scwhable rocket ron 2.6 tire tough & tight fit took a while to mount on my Ibis Carbon Assemetrical 742 rims-But once in very trick indeed-can be run flat as advertised & you can run very low air pressures as well-Excelent rim protection-
Like an insurance - you never know if you'll puncture but if I do I rather get home and not to fix the puncture on the road.
Cones handy in case of emergency. But the valves are too short for 55mm deep section wheels.
Purchased the road liner and was excited to use on my 62mm front wheel. Unfortunately, the special valve stems supplied (side port opening to let sealant enter tire around the liner) don't have enough thread length to put on a threaded valve extender & the stem nut. Vittoria shows longer stems on their U.S. website but are not available to order. A deeper rim should allow a valve extender to be used without the threading issue.
