Vital Proteins Beef Gelatin 16.4 oz

I recently bought this to make some Gut Healing Marshmellos that one of my favorite bloggers recommended. I absolutely love this product. My stomach has never felt stronger. I typically struggle from acid reflux and indigestion and since using this product I haven't had an episode. My skin also looks like it is glowing! I bought this to help my gut health and didn't even realize it would help my skin so much until my friends asked me what I was doing differently in my skin routine. I've always struggled with pretty severe acne that leaves scarring and since using this product I haven't broken out once. Beef Gelatin - Unflavoured - 907g

Been using the gelatin for about a month now as wanted to try it out so as to facilitate an unbiased review. It does help with my sleeping. Can't really explain it but wake up feeling more refreshed. Think it's the magnesium glycinate it contains. I consume 2 scoops last thing before bed. Mix it and add some grass-fed raw milk kefir. Tastes ok but want something additional to help my liver while I slept. Just experimenting. Thinking of buying it for my mum who has troubles staying asleep and would definitely recommend. It lasts for 45 days at 2 scoops per night.

Brilliant gelatin

I've been consuming this a lot recently, since struggling with traditional meat and veggie protein sources. It's been an absolute life saver for me because it's low in methionine and cysteine (sulfur-containing aminos). But if it's the only concentrated protein you eat, you might also need to supplement tryptophan. Mix with a little water and marmite, add some grass-fed beef dripping fat, and some pre-cooked vegetables, warm gently until fat and gelatin molten, then eat. It's really delicious actually.

Can't live without it!!!

I have been buying this product for a long while due to its solidifying properties. Explanation - my 29 year old son is severely autistic and has considerable physical and mental challenges. Ten years ago he stopped being able to drink any fluids.... enter bovine gelatin powder by Vital Proteins. Oh my goodness, what a Godsend. He now has a minimum of one and a half pints of 'fluids' in solid form due to the gelatin powder preparation, every single day. He loves it. We use pear juice, ginger water, plain water even cooked cauliflower water - and he loves them all! Thank you, deeply, for this product. Excellent!

The Vital Protein Beef Gelatin is a great quality grass-fed product, I love using for homemade sweet and savory gelatin based dishes (from basic jellies to panacottas). It is also an organic supplement, good for everyone’s diet!The gelatin comes in fine granules and it mixes perfectly with plain water, juice, cashew or almond milk/beverage, broth (for savory jelly). I never experienced any clumps or other consistency issues.I love it's plain and simple, for sweet treats I add my own Stevia or monk fruit flavored sweeteners. I can makeOut of the canister the gelatin smells... well... like beef gelatin. But once prepared I can barely smell or taste it.

Good product but runs out a lot

I've been using this product for about a year now. The packaging is excellent although I preferred the earlier larger packaging (2 lbs instead of just 1 lb).The quality is very high as well as the ingredients. I usually take one measure mixed in with coffee or tea in the morning.The product is very good and has given me a slightly noticeable improvement in my general skeletal pain. I have been using it for about a year now, but I am guessing that it will take longer to have a more marked effect. The company service is top notch and it got delivered very quickly. I wish though that they don't run out of stock so frequently.

Great health and kitchen ally

High quality gelatin (coming from grass-fed, pasture-raised beef!!) compatible with the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) diet. I have it with my broth/soup/coffee and it doesn't change the flavour - it upgrades giving a nice velvety texture and adding non-inflammatory protein. Great to replace eggs when baking both sweet and savory recipes. It's kind to my gut and body, and I Iove it

Joint Relief

My husband's VA Nutritionist suggested extra protein so I researched the different types and most healthy. I did not have any "great expectations" but we immediately noticed a glass of tea with a serving of Vital Protein seemed to fill us up.About a month after we had been drinking it every day, we noticed something incredible. My husband had knee surgery in 2008 and his left knee has bothered him ever since. Marvelous!!!!!

Amazing beef gelatin for me it is the best in the market. My nails after being brittle for years are back to being strong and thick, my skin glows and my knee pain is 95% gone! Don't be a smart rear end like me and follow the instructions to dissolve it so it won't clump. I used to try and disolve it in hot liquids and most of the times it clumped up..... until one day by accident I press cold water from my water dispenser instead of hot to make tea and voila! Instantly dissolved without clumps:) :) so what I do know is add 2 inches of cold water in to the mug, ad the gelatin mix with a spoon and then ad the hot water and the bag of tea, problem solved I do the same with coffee.
