Are you kidding me! This order was sent out two times and both times it was sent to a wrong location. Never got my order, and it was supposed to be a Christmas present! My Oder was cancelled by your company and my money refunded back to my card. Terrible experience. Got more info here on this . Found this product online cheaper and I bought two for the price of one of yours plus you charged 8.95 for shipping. I got free shipping, it was at my house in two days. The fiasco with yours lasted 2 weeks.

This press is heavy. (I'm still learning the best consistency of the masa for corn tortillas.) Printed instructions are clear & helpful. No need to press hard, the cast iron does it for you. Glad I finally bought this press.

Cast iron quality can vary, but this Victoria Tortilla Press is well cast and smooooth! I'm new to tortilla making, but they come out just fine. I have heard of handles breaking on some tortilla presses, but not much force is needed on this one. In fact, when I press a little too much, they are too thin to transfer to the "comal" without breaking. I like the 8" size press, since the size of the masa ball is what determines the size of the finished product. A smaller press would limit the size of the tortilla. It looks, feels and performs like Quality.
Good tortilla press. If you don't press down handle too hard, tortillas come out even. Both top and bottom plates are flat, and smooth. No dips like some other cast iron presses have. I would recommend to anyone looking for a 8" cast iron press. Too bad they don't make 10" corn tortilla presses like this one.
This is a great tool to have in the kitchen. It is well build, sturdy and heavy enough to do the job right. Homemade tortillas are the only way to go! I highly recommend this for anyone that likes to use tortillas in their food beyond just for tacos.
I thought I cook grill the tortillas on the stove with this; my ignorance but I had to return this item as it wasn’t what I wanted!
I use this for making oat/flaxmeal flat breads. 4 cups flaxmeal, salt, mixed with grapeseed oil until it looks crummy, add boiling water to make a thin paste, add about 4 cups of oat flour until the dough is like the tortilla dough. Flatten, pan fry (seasoned cast iron) until sealed, then microwave for about a minute or so (more if dough is wetter). Tastes like wheat. I use this press everyday. Just wish it had spacers.
It is solid cast iron and should last a long time like my other cast iron cookware. I've used it for flour & corn tortillas and they turned out great. I can now make breakfast tacos for a fraction of restaurant prices.
have several Victoria cast iron products, and they are all superbly made including the Victoria tortilla press. I used it to make homemade tortillas for the first time, and it worked wonderfully. Anyone who says they broke the arm on this tortilla press do not know how to properly use a tortilla press, and, therefore, break it through user error, not product design. Victoria is a great Colombian company whose products I trust!
