Oh yes! Who does not know him? The small cotton wonder of Vans. Price-wise it is in the standard versions fully okay, in the more expensive versions you just have to see if the shoe is worth it, but I think if you are not just short of cash you can treat yourself to the shoe even in the more expensive version. These are great shoes to wear in the summer with shorts! They are not only stylish, but comfortable and stylish. They are not as sturdy as your typical sneaker that laces up, but they can still be used for walking outside on pavement or grass. They get a lot of compliments! Because of the simplistic design, they will be in style for years! If they came in women’s sizes, I would buy them in every color!

Cute retro Vans and true to size, don't size down!

Love love love these! Same checkered design and fit as when I was a teen. I listened to the reviews and ended up buying half a size down thinking they were running large, but don't do it! Order your true size, these run narrow and tight on your foot. I think there's another re-issue version that might run bigger but these classic ones do not. I need to exchange these for my true size now to give me more room! For the price, it's still worth the effort to get the right fit.

Finally In My Size!

They are beautiful. I've been wanting vans for quite some time & unfortunately it was never available in my size (at least not in the stores). I don't like ordering online until I know that the item will fit. It's always been an issue my entire life.Finally I was in a store & they had a 14 for me to try on & they fit perfectly. It was an easy decision after that. I ordered the color I wanted online. I do wish they offered the heavier more durable version vans in my size but they stop at 13.

I've been wearing it for a year now!

I have been wearing this classic white slip on for almost a year. It's one of my favorite shoes. Because It's very perfect for everyday use. And also easy to match with any clothes. When I walk wearing this slip-on, it was very comfortable. The leather heels on the back of the shoes stay on my feet all day without flipperage. I love the design of the rubber waffle outsoleswhich was the signature of that. For the price of the shoes, it's quite expensive but it's worth it from using good materials like vulcanized rubber which are used for their outsoles, canvas and leathers.Because of the white color, the shoes are easy to get dirty. And when I wash my shoes it becomes gray and does not turn into the original white color again. The disadvantage that I also found is when I wear this without socks and walking too much, it gives me blisters.However, If you want me to recommend one favorite shoe, It would be this one. In my Checkered Era!

I bought the checkerboard marshmallow on sale, and they are perfect. I did not read the reviews, which I’m glad because apparently, ppl are sizing down. But I found these ran TTS for me. I’m a true size 5 womens or kids size 3, and very rarely have to size up in any shoe besides in mules sometimes. My foot width is normal to narrow I’d say. These fit great and are comfortable right out the box for me. I don’t own any Vans. But when I saw this neutral color way, I had to get it. So cute and goes with everything. Highly recommend!

Insoles glued in/down/on, non-removable, non-replaceable

Insoles are glued to shoe and therefore not removable: therefore, if one wants after-market insoles, one can only *add* them on top of the insoles that cone with the shoe and thus make the shoe smaller; one cannot replace the factory-default, non-custom ones that come with the shoe. And if the insoles wear out, one cannot remove/replace then to (re)freshen them/the shoes (neither can the insoles be removed to help the shoes dry faster if one wants).Would I recomend them? This would depend on the context, what one wants them for.

Usually Love These, Yet Last Pair Broke Immediately

These are my favorite go-to shoes to buy & wear, since my work allows me to wear them daily. However, I was very sad after my last purchase of them. This unfortunately all happened during an extremely busy time at work, so I really did not have the time then to try to get my pair replaced. Usually, these shoes hold up through my daily wear for a decent period of time. I do not know if some part of the manufacturing process changed this last year, but the rubber siding of my last pair ordered immediately separated from the shoe. This happened literally in the first few days of wearing them, with absolutely no extra stress put on them. I figured I would simply super glue it shut, but that failed. I bought these shoes every 2 years for the last 20 years because they not only do they stay in fashion but are extremely comfortable, true to size, extremely convenient in your the slip on model, and always feel comfortable.
