The Travelsafe Guarantee does not outweigh the sheer inconvenience this bag has caused. The people who designed 5is bag have definitely never had to use it. You have to take the wheels off of the stroller. Then the stroller BARELY fits in the bag. It takes a solid 10 minutes to get the stroller packed up which is very inconvenient when you are about to board a flight. Then if you have a connection in the airport you have to take the stroller out of the bag, reassemble the stroller and go through security, then pack it up again. The zippers were so stressed that our bag broke on our flight home. I do not recommend this bag. It is so expensive and so disappointing.

I’m giving 4 stars because of Nordstom’s customer service and product policy. The travel bag works well in that it fits the stroller well, has wheels and isn’t bulky or heavy. However, the first time we used it to travel we gate checked it and when we picked it up plane-side, it already had a rip in the material. Same thing happened on the way back. Also, the handle could have more room. It’s very close to the top of the bag and is hard to wheel easily. But when I called Nordstrom and told them about the bag ripping after one round-trip flight, they immediately took action and sent me a replacement and steps to return the damaged bag. I hope we don’t run into the same issue again but at least I’m not worried about how it will be handled.

We love this bag for travel. We bought an umbrella stroller for our first international vacation but then last minute decided to take our UB vista. We are so glad that we did. It easily wheels through the airport (we put baby in the carrier and only got the stroller out for longer layovers). Watch a YouTube video and do it once before going to the airport. The first time it’s hard to get it zipped but it just needs stretched a little and it’s a ton easier the second time. We were so happy that we had our Vista on our trip and we were able to protect it during airplane travel.

When you buy UppaBaby (UB) u commit to spending more out of the gates. In my mind, buying a very expensive stroller meant I didn't want anything to happen to it that I could control. Therefore, although it pained me deeply to spend over one hundred dollars on a bag, I knew it would pain me more if something happened to my stroller in flight and I was out of warranty and couldn't get it fixed for free. Plus, traveling is already so stressful with baby, I figured anything to give me peace of mind and make it smoother was worth it. Enter the UB Vista travel case. It was surprisingly easy to get the back wheels on/off (literally just push in the center gray button and the wheels pop on or off). We purchased this in order to take our vista with us on a trip. Having the vista with us instead of a smaller umbrella was amazing. We loved the functionality of the double. On the way there , it was perfect. Nothing wrong with the stroller. We flew Jet Blue both ways. On the way back into EWR though- it was split in two. So it’s great because I was able to get a new replacement frame from Uppababy. I was hesistant but happy I did it. You’ll end up spending the $200 or more for a replacement frame regardless if you need it.
This product is a huge waste of money! It is not padded and does not protect your stroller well. It is not easy to use at all and the instructions are awful. Key thing though is that it is horrible quality -- I used it 3 times and it ripped! I contacted the company and their customer service said the rip is not a manufacturing defect and therefore there is nothing they will do for me. They stated that this is normal wear and tear and is expected. Wear and tear is expected, but to rip after only 3 uses within just a few months is unacceptable. DO NOT BUY!
Fast delivery. A well made and good looking bag. Easy to pop off/on the stroller wheels with no tools required. Stroller frame fit perfectly inside the bag (have not tried with seat yet since still using infant carrier). The picture printed on the inside of the bag shows which way to place the frame. Lots of extra space in the bag to include extra items along with the frame (blankets, diapers etc). Recommended to put the stroller in the bag while seated at the gate rather than doing it at the plane doors. Easy to roll on the wheels. Rolls up compactly when not in use. Pricey product but well-thought-out and provides peace of mind to protect the stroller investment and will be great for future storage.

They registered ALL my products, even though you’re supposed to do it within 3 months of purchase and I’ve had my car seat and stroller for almost a year (only the cases were recently purchased).
