All the Radix products are great. I have been doing challenging & very remote hiking for 30 years now - in the most remote parts of the Kimberleys (nth west Australia) , tasmania and new Zealand ... I've tried freeze dried food early on, more recently I take fresh stuff myself (that begins to add significantluy to the weight on a week long trip - but now, I exclusively use the radix range. Enoiugh variety to keep us happy and looking forward to meals each nith - and as far as meeting our nutritional requirements - 10 out of 10. Less weight - more nutrition - great taste. I ordered radix 800 breakfasts and meals for 18 days Larapinta trek... loved the taste and texture - in fact could not pick a fav - although my hiking buddy was extremely envious everytime i had the apple cinnamon breakfast due to the lovely aroma. At times i made breakfast with hot water and only ate half saving the other half (then cold) for morning tea. Texture and taste still great!

This breakfast is a nutritious, calorific, fast food for underweight kids with cerebral palsy. Make up, blend up, add a bit of your kid’s required milk and it can be delivered via peg or mic key. My son’s dystonia is so settled after breakfast and he has energy to burn.
I recently did a 450km back-country ride over a few days, and this involved waking at 5 and having a quick breakfast before getting underway. I normally find it very hard to eat at that time of day, especially when there is a level of trepidation for the challenges the day will bring...So, it is a great testament of the Ultra Breakfasts that despite not feeling like eating, it is so easy to consume. They taste great and better still, they power you for hours.
