Ultra durable. Use these S-Tubes on all three of my bikes. After having these for almost two years, finally had a puncture last winter and used the repair kit...the repair job took two seconds and I'm still using the repaired tube, which survived flight out to California and a few climbs out in Malibu area mountains! Don't know what these other reviewers are talking about, if theres an issue with durability, you're installing them incorrectly or something, because my 6 S -Tubolito's in the three bikes with 2 years of constant use in mixed terrains are all holding perfectly. Read elsewhere about concern for the valve cores coming out with screw on type pump heads, but I use an Arundel Hansel Pump Head, which I'd recommend getting regardless of what tubes you use! ... MoreUltra durable. I've had no issue with the Tubo's valve cores, but that pump head doesn't screw on. Bottom line - get these tubes! I'll never use anything else!

I carry two in my saddle bag and they take up less room than one butyl tube. Blow into the stem b4 installing to give it some shape to install without twists or wrinkles. Lightweight, compact, and great tubes. Used them when damage to tire was in excess of sealant ability.

I have used vittoria and ridenow TPU tubes. These seem to be more difficult to install and don’t retain air at all. Put a pair on my bike. One held air for 24 hours the other went flat in 3 days. Bad product. Vittoria and ridenow are great and ridenow is very reasonably priced!!

Hmm, Guess I should have read better. The MTB S-Tubo apparently have removable stems, the "road" version clearly states it does not on the "tech details". I missed that, I run 404's that require a valve extender. I did actually unscrew the valve stem and use a extender, but I'm 100% I voided any warranty etc. in doing so. MY BAD. Having said that, I blew air in with my mouth, mounted everything and it was "easy", no problems. They seem to actually hold air better than my previous lightweight racing butyl tubes, so that's a positive. I haven't had a puncture, but that was never an issue for me, so I'm not a good judge of puncture protection. I'm not supposed to mount to "rim brakes" and ride hills, but per my infrared thermometer and testing, I haven't demonstrated any temperatures of concern for myself. I certainly cannot endorse, nor recommend, but I'm simply stating, I measured mine in my local area with a infrared thermometer after riding hills. I wasn't concerned with the data my thermometer provided to me, so I'll continue using. They are soft and the ride is nice in conti'5000's on zipp 404's with a standard carbon road bike. Happy riding, may your PR's seem easy and your chamois comfortable.
I love this tube! I run a tubeless setup. I like to carry a spare tube in case of a flat I can't repair. I wanted to minimize the size and weight for my tool kit. The tube comes in a small rectangular box. Very small. Shockingly small. Plus the box protects the tube in my tool kit.
I've used these on a few bikes now and it's a good way to save around 120g on the total bike weight. But more than that, they give a very nice supple ride feel, and reduce the weight and bulk of your spares kit. When the inevitable happened - broken glass through a sidewall - I was able to repair it successfully using Tubolito's own 'Flix Kit' for repair. Recommended!
Super small tubes, two of them are still smaller than a lightweight butyl tube. I keep two of these in my lezyne micro saddle bag, alongside a topeak multitool, tyre boots, spare lube, quicklinks, rubber gloves, valves and valve core removal tool, zipties, patches, glue and 2032 battery. That should indicate how tiny these tubes really are. Only used one in a tubeless emergency and it worked fine and rolled back up into its original size.
I exclusively use Tubolito tubes not only for the light weight but because of my experience with flats using them.In my area roads are not that well taken care which means you become very good with road-side repairs. I typically prefer latex tubes however in my experience when flatting they either explode or rip. In using the Tubolitos I found that when I flat I don't recognize it until the air pressure drops low enough for me to notice it. The tubes don't explode or immediately lose pressure but it seems to me that the tube forms a tighter seal around the puncture which reduces the amount of air loss. Additionally due to their small size I can carry three tubes and when replacing the tube using a new tube they pop into the tire easily making repairs a snap. I have several that have been patched using Tubolito patches and they have been very reliable. Note that initially some Tubolito tubes leaked air from the stem, this is easily addressed by using super-glue gel, simply unscrew the stem half-way, carefully apply a small bead around the metal part of the stem and screw back in. While I think latex tubes are slightly better in ride quality I will for now, use the Tubolito's due to how they react to flatting and their light weight.Best regards.
These inner tubes are not elastic/stretchable compared to other brands but they look great and are very lightweight! Perfect for someone like me who is weight conscious about their folding bikes; a pair shaved about 100g off my Brompton.Fitting it for the first time was a little tricky for me as they don't handle like the other brands and tends to slide off the rim when deflated. Inflating them slightly before fitting certainly helps and also prevents them getting pinched against the rim wall.Once installed, they keep the air in well.I am happy with them although they are quite costly!
Dunno why I seem to be different - I’ve had endless punctures on these. I’ve got one that punctured, when I got it home it had 5 holes in it. I bought the repair kit and have repaired a few inner tubes, but given yesterday I got a puncture 5 mins into a ride (in London), then this morning found the rear tyre flat, I’m giving up on these. The puncture resistance is much much worse than standard inner tubes. I run these with Conti GP5000s. So that’s 4 inner tubes in the bin…So overall, a great product if you can ensure the roads you cycle on are free from anything causing a puncture! They are fast and light. But I can’t cycle around worrying about punctures, every time you see a bit of gravel on the road you panic you’ve got a puncture.
