Pros: used for a few months, work well, easy to link with Alexa. range of colours excellent, and brighter than i thought they would be.Cons: there is a way to make it fade in/out all the colours, but it is horrible, does it in a sort of staggered jumpy way, not smooth at all. the cheapo remote control bulbs (non-Wi-Fi) did a great job of this, it a nice effect to have with a corner lamp. but after 1 minute you cant stand it anymore so i never use that option

Very good bulb. Much cheaper that phillips but works just as well.App could be better, currently no widgets on android version of the app so unable to turn light on and off using phone without waiting for app to load up.Dimmable and multicolour so can change it to suit the moment.No issues with setup, you need to give it your wifi password as per the instructions on the app. which are well detailed.Love the fact it's no hub required and connects to alexa easily with the full range of voice commands (Eg; Light on/off, set light to 50%, set light blue,red,purple)

Brought these for the kids room to go with our existing smart home setup. Love the range of colours. Super easy to set up. Normal warm whit and daylight colours are of course going to be brighter then the large range of colours that can be selected. Perfect for the smaller rooms. Works great with google home and voice control. You do need to keep the switches on to have them work. So if someone turns them off at the wall you need to turn it back on before voice control works again.

Works well as bulb but after a while (from experience) the bulb stops responding with Alexa (Echo Dot) when I ask it to "turn on". It also sometimes refuse to turn on manually and will have to keep trying few times before it turns back on and normal again.Overall, alright product. There's better ones out there. It does the job, but could be much better.
TP-Link Tape LED used with the App on iPhone is brilliant. Use these in my bathroom and conservatory. Very versatile with programable on/off timer and dimmer.
I bought these as a cheaper replacement for my Philips Hue- they both pretty much do the same thing e.g full colour spectrum, timed on/off presets, etc. You do get downsides from the cheaper price tag- the main issue is the connection. I've had to reset my bulbs a few times because they won't turn on/off, and a couple of times a lamp has turned on in the middle of the night and woken me up. It's still not a major problem for me; considering the price it's worth the inconvenience but might be a thing to consider.
So simple to set up, it took about 3 minutes and I've never used one of these before. The app is simple and effective. The bulb is bright enough for my desk lamp and very responsive. I wanted a bulb that I could switch between warm and cool white for switching between working in low light and being adequately lit on video calls (my desk is backlit) which this does perfectly. Also being able to dim the light is a great feature. Other colours are bonus.
Very disappointed. It doesn't work with my mobile hotspot. Or mobile internet. had to give to a friend as was no good for me. Waste of money.
We’re a bit fiddly connecting to WiFi the first time at 2.4 GHz but that may have been down to my make and configuration of home router. In the end I created a Guest WiFi just for the lights and now the work a treat. Once the first one registered the others worked without issue. The App is simple and very good, creating short cuts etc. to turn off all lights in a room is very easy.
Pros: Lovely light it changes to different colours if u want it to or just one colour. Nice ambiance mood lighting. Has a timer to come on and off at the same time each day if that’s what u want, makes it look like someone’s at home when you not. Love my new lamp lightCons: It switches off when not on the timer, after a few hours. I just put it back on again but I don’t understand why it does this
