Total Results Instacure Tension Reliever 200ml

I've never used a scalp serum previously. I was a little skeptical of Matrix Instacure Anti-Breakage and Scalp Relief Serum. The application process seemed cumbersome. The product initially felt very sticky. It was actually considerably simpler to apply than I expected. The unusual texture of the serum was temporary as I worked it into my scalp. I absolutely loved the cooling sensation on my scalp. It was refreshing. It seems to make my hair less frizzy, more functional, and less unruly than usual.

I never wear my hair tight because I have a sensitive scalp and always get headaches. I wasn’t sure where to start with trying out this product. I was expecting a serum as it’s in the name but upon opening it up it’s more like a hair lotion. It’s milky white and quite runny. Int idea was to use it as I use my scalp oils but with the runny consistency it was… interesting! The fragrance is great, like the rest of the line, smells of roses. It refreshed my two day dirty hair a bit, but I was expecting it to have some sort of tingling or something in my scalp since it’s for tension relief, hairstyles that cause tension. The formula being so thin you can probably use this on wet or dry hair, I’m going to try it as a leave in serum next and see where that takes me. The packaging is nice and slim And easy to use.

I like the idea of a serum for strengthening hair and the fact that this is an additional leave-in option. There’s a strong floral/sweet (?) scent if you are sensitive to fragrance. The applicator is easy to use. I did find that sometimes too much product came out if I squeezed the bottle onto my scalp directly, so later on I put this into my hand first before hand combing it through. I did cut back from nightly use because I found my scalp felt oily after a few days, but if you have a particularly dry scalp this could work for daily use.

yasss. I love the product. all 4. I used them all together and they compliment each other very well. it's hard for me to find hair products that I like and work with my hair texture. I'm 4c and it did wonders. I recently went relaxed and short and will try it on my new hair dew. it managed my natural hair wonderfully with all the added moisture that I need and that is necessary for me. I will continue to use it on my pre teen daughters natural hair and my new hair as well. smell, and texture is great, Moisturizing, revitalizing. Recommended!!

It's a good product but I personally don't or will use this everyday like maybe others would. Hope this makes sense. Still I think it does what it’s meant to do. It smells minty and fresh to me. ☺️

I really like Matrix Instacure line however this one did not really work for me. The scent is wonderful, as are all of the goods in this range. The consistency of the product is like a cool, liquid lotion. It gives a cooling sensation when applied to the scalp. I love the ingredients of this product. However, it made my roots feel and look greasy, which I really did not like. To use this product I applied it to freshly washed hair, applied a small amount of this gel product but the feeling of greasiness ruined everything. Not my favorite product from this line.

First off, I would like to say how wonderfully fragrant this serum is and that the fragrance stays with my hair even after a few days without rewashing. I have really long hair and always pull it back tightly in up-dos. This product has been really helping me relieve my scalp tension. I got this through Influenster and a campaign! Unfortunately when I got it the spray bottle didn’t function at all. Luckily I had a separate screw top spray hair conditioner bottle I was about to toss in order to replace it. Overall this helped make it easier to comb my hair after washing and conditioning it, and it smelled nice. Unfortunately I didn’t see a huge difference when compared to other products I already owned. I may potentially repurchase this, but I don’t see myself becoming dedicated to the line.

Oh my gosh, the way this serum makes my scalp feel is amazing. It literally is such a relief, there are no better words to describe it! I do not wear my hair tight, but I constantly feel tension and this serum helps me a lot. It also takes care of my skin and somehow it helped me reduce scalp oiliness. Long story short, try it! Especially if you have braids, I would love to use it with braids on, I always felt frustration from not being able to wash my hair or somehow relief the tension braids created and this for sure is a solution.

After using this complete series, my hair looks stronger and healthier. Less breakage, shinier no more dull appearance. It also smooths my hair, no more dry, frizzy, and brittle hair. Each product has a very pleasant floral scent that I love, my hair always smells so good after each time using it. The tension reliever scalp serum is more like a rich liquid, it’s kind of a little bit greasy. I don’t use mine regularly on the scalp only on the hair, especially on the end where it's very dry. Each product has its job to help make your hair look amazing! My hair never looks this healthy.
