I haven't used the roofbox or bars yet (1st trip is in the spring) but I'm sure it will go together well and easily. The box to bars fittings are really easy to connect from what I can see and you can't over tightened anything due to the torque screwdriver arm provided. 4's not 5's just because we need to roadtrip this kit first really. I suspect it will get 5's though #.

Finally I can pack everything with in to the roof box, and I can sleep inside my car, where is now full of space for my basic things, and everything now is tide it up 😉After my 1 week of Holliday, I do not found any defect of use the roof box, and also I do not find what I can improve in the design, because everything is made it for use, users, as should be ✌The roof box is very light, and SOLID!!!Very easy to set up, and 1man can even set up, and un setup from roof after made a trip 😉Absolutely worth my hard earn money 👌

Quality wise I am very pleased. As you construct the roofbars you can tell this Thule brand is well engineered and thought through. I haven't used the roofbox or bars yet (1st trip is in the spring) but I'm sure it will go together well and easily. The box to bars fittings are really easy to connect from what I can see and you can't over tightened anything due to the torque screwdriver arm provided. 4's not 5's just because we need to roadtrip this kit first really. Great size and very easy to fit, the torque system is great- you can’t over tighten it. The top section feels surprisingly lightweight/feels flimsy when open so strong breeze may be a worry. Although it opens both sides, it’s far easier to open one particular way for us- not really a problem though.Low wind noise compared to other boxes.
I bought this for holidays and I went for the Matt finish to avoid scratching as much as a gloss one.. my theory was bang on and it’s super sturdy. The overall quality is superb and the quick release screw on clamps saves so much time taking it on and off in literally under 5 mins. It also comes with some ratchet straps which is great too for lashing stuff inside. I love that you can open it on both sides and it fits all my stuff in with ease. The shape and style also looks cool. Highly recommended and worth the money.
I purchased this roof box for our regular trips to France and used it last month for the first time. Easy to mount on the car by myself but bit easier if someone can help lift it on. Fits great to my MK7.5 Golf R Estate using the Thule Evo Wingbars. Went for the medium size box as a bit easier to store somewhere when not in use compared to the larger boxes. Plenty of space inside, easily fits several bags/holdalls. Drove across France in heavy rain and everything inside was completely dry. Didn’t notice much noise from the roof box when driving on the motorway and only a slight increase in fuel consumption. Cannot fault the roof box and so pleased I purchased it. Would not recommend using Halfords home delivery, wish I had done click and collect. We bought the Thule Force XT M roof box to make our camping trips easier, also freeing space in the car so you can see out of the rear window when driving! It is surprising how much you can fit in and it is very simple to mount on the Thule WingBar Evo roof bars. Excellent quality and would highly recommend if you are considering a roof box. This model is a good balance between capacity and is easily stored, or left mounted when not in use.

It has dual opening (both sides) which is very useful. Drove nine hours through serious torrential downpours and not a drop got inside. It's compact, looks smart, comes with a spare key. The amount I could fit in felt like I had a Tardis on the roof. Body boards, windbreaks, wetsuits, bags and more.Really good strong study plastic, looks good, the locking mechanism was very sturdy and safe and the 'clamping' to the roof bars is an excellent piece of design. I ordered online the biggest Thule box you could get and then realised it was too big when I went to collect. Lindsay in the Burton on Trent store was amazing and helping me get sorted and settled on this one instead. It fits brilliantly on my Alfa Guilia. It’s so easy to put on, take off and a great size. I like the way it won’t let you take the key out while it’s open, and will only release the key when fully closed and locked so no danger of leaving it unlocked or it flicking open in transit. The clamps are great and won’t let you over tighten them so not a lot can go wrong. It also doesn’t actually take the full width of the roof bars, and although I haven’t tried it yet I’m pretty sure I could get one of my Nike holders on the bars at the same time as the box!
Easy to install and fix . The adjustable grab fixings are easy to use and fix very securely. The medium size is easy enough to lift - if a little cumbersome - having a SUV car the roof and rails are some distance from ground level, I made two timber slide rails that were supported off the car roof and temporarily fixed to the roof rails - the other ends were supported off an adjacent / parallel wall. This enabled lifting the box to the required height and sliding it on to the roof rails (obviously detach the slide rails before driving off!) so despite size of the top box was easy to install. The box is well made and the ability to open / access both sides of the box a great asset. Used the box in rainy conditions with no evidence of any water ingress.
