The puffer inside can be attached or taken off.Then the detachable inside puffer is lightweight, flattering & 2 in 1. It's reversible with the logo on both sides. One side is a sleek finish and the other side is the panelled classic puffer look. Both have pockets.I have a north face puffer in a Small so got a small in this too. It fits amazingly. The only thing to look out for is if you want to have both coats attached (waterproof with the puffer inside) it will obviously have a tighter fit. I m having this jacket 1.5 year and its absolutely practical for whole year unfortunately within time the jacket worn and got pale at places where I was naturally using the most. I ended up with many small white holes around my pockets and faded material on the stitches( I have black one), looks horrible. For this price I hoped will last long... Honestly can't recommend.

This is a wonderful coat and I've been trying on many 3 in 1s and this was really the best of all. I'm a little worried by the reviews saying it is not hard-wearing.It is warm, looks great on and is incredibly flexible in its use

I don't understand the negative reviews. I never bought anything from NF so I wasn't too sure where to begin at first. I am 5"11 tall and nothing ever firs or it's too short. This coat is everything but short. Perfect length (coat comes up just above my knees), covers my back side. Sleeves could be a touch longer but overall great. I went with find my size guide and north face recommended size XL. I am a curvy size 14 and xl fits like a glove. It's super warm, can layer a thick jumper underneath and the waterproof element is amazing. I just love this coat. The only negative is that I wish they did more variety of colours. Other than I have no complaints.
3 in 1 coats .. what's not to like.. so I'll be honest..I'm a size 10 on the bottom 12 on the top & 5 ft 4.I bought this coat in a size medium, so I can wear a sweatshirt/ jumper under the coat, the size small was way too snug. Obviously having a padded inside this coat can look a little bit bulky & be a bit restrictive but when I'm in it, I'm snuggly & warm which is the desired result.. a great winter coat !! Once getting it home I soon realised that there are a few points which are very annoying. I'm a size 8 and 5"4 I usually get either xs or s in most things. When I tried on this in small coat it was a perfect fit very snug although I knew as soon as I would want the down coat taken out and just wanting to wear the rain Mac it would be too big which it is. Loved this coat at first (bought October 2021), only used last Winter for a few months and got it out again over Christmas. The pocket zip has broke, inner coat lining split with feathers coming out also it's faded round the pockets and hood. I only really use it at weekends to stand round rugby and football. Very disappointed with the quality/durability for North face. Had my previous North Face Coat 5 years plus. Quality has definitely declined in the recent products.
I have had this coat two winters. Maximum length of time I have warn this coat over those two winters would be eight months wear. I have this coat in black and it has faded down the front where the zip sits under the fabric, around the sleeves have faded and started to get holes where the sleeves brushes against the coat as you walk.It's a shame because this is a great looking coat (when new) but this coat isn't worth the price tag.

The hood of this jacket was very small which means your full face and top of your hair line gets soaked in the rain (and again meant you were quite restricted in your movement when you had the hood up). I also found after around an hour of walking in the rain, the actual waterproof was soaked almost all the way through leaving the puffer inside slightly damp. Worn a few times in the snow, warm and waterproof so far, did read reviews and was a bit confused as very conflicting opinions on this coat, have worn as quilted jacket too, very versatile and so far it's been great
