The Men's Denali 2 Jacket is a warm and phenomenally reliable fleece garment that has gradually evolved over many decades and is still one of the most iconic and outstanding jackets ever created by The North Face. The high-quality design and attention to every detail are apparent when you first examine the coat and wear it. The two chest pockets - one vertical and the other horizontal - are deep and wide and can hold a significant quantity of small items. The two handwarmer pockets are also equally broad and deep, and both angle downward to help prevent small objects from falling out. The reinforced fabric on the shoulders, chest, and forearms helps prevent wear and tear over the lifetime of the garment. Although the jacket is not wholly windproof or waterproof, it ... Although the jacket is not wholly windproof or waterproof, it does offer a significant degree of protection from a mix of outdoor elements. When worn under a basic unlined outer shell like the Men's Venture 2 Jacket, the Denali 2 Jacket becomes a super warm insulating garment that will help keep you dry and protected in near-freezing temperatures. Once you put on the Denali 2 Jacket, you don't want to take it off, and I think that is pretty special. But if you do take off the jacket, be sure you don't leave it alone draped over a chair in a public bar. Otherwise, it might disappear! So, if you are searching for a sturdy, reliable, robust, warm, and unique coat made with recycled fleece that will provide you with many decades of happiness and warmth, then look no further than the Men's Denali 2 Jacket. You will not be disappointed, and your body will thank you.

Daily wear when temperatures below 50. Replaced Denali purchased in 2000. That coat was worn literally thousands of times. Loved it. New version is okay but not as good. Zippers a step down in quality. Sleeves are now tailored too tight for comfortably wearing lightweight sweater or long sleeve cotton shirt underneath. Still a good coat but not "the best available" like my 2000 version.

This jacket is the only jacket I'll wear. I've had mine for a few years and it holds up very well. I had recently visited family outside the country and left mine behind by accident . SO....without hesitation, I ordered another one. Unfortunately, they didn't have my color (blk/blk) in the correct size, so I went with the gray/black. The jacket arrived promptly at my door days later. On the day of arrival, I checked the website and they had my jacket in stock. So...again without hesitation, I ordered the style jacket I wanted. North Face took my return without hesitation and ensured I received my refund. Great job!!

This is my newest Denali in my collection the one with the polartec embroidered on the sleeve. Compared to my previous Denali, the fleece feels thin and more lighter on the new version. I'm not sure if the quality has gone down because I feel like the new version won't be able to take a beating because the fleece feels so thin. I will say it's quite warm but we'll see how it goes the more I wear it. It definitely feels cheap compared to the 95 retro and Denali 2 models. I'm a little bit disappointed
My husband uses this under his rain jacket of the same brand! He absolutely loved the Christmas gift. It fits well and is the same great quality he enjoyed from the same jacket he bought for himself nearly 20 years ago. Even after 20 years his previous jacket - the same one - is doing well to this day. He looks great in the new one and is thrilled as always with the quality. There is absolutely nothing I would recommend that needs to be improved upon. I highly recommend this jacket. (The jacket of 20 years is going to be given to a friend's son - who has been asking to borrow it constantly.)
Ok so here I go. I'm a huge fan of North Face products. Though out the years I have purchased many different types of outerwear from them. I admire there quality and there warranty and of course there cold weather performance, but with this item I was a little disappointed with and I explain why. Well, For the first time, I'm a little disappointed in a TNF product. I bought this to zip in with a shell I have. The product description said it would work with other zip in style jackets. However when I got it, it didn't zip in. I reached out and was told that it would is only compatible with "retro" shells. Sad. I thought I did my due diligence in verifying. I advised TNF staff of my dissatisfaction, and was given a $50 gift card, which helped the sting. I've worn it a few times. It feels a little stiff, and when I wear it with a a shirt sleeve shirt underneath, the stitching under the arm is bothersome. Maybe it will relax with time? Either way, not my favorite item.
Great fleece jacket! My previous Denali was from 2004, so of course I miss the pit zips the older version had. But this version is still worth every penny. It fits great. I'm 5'9" and have a 42 inch chest, and the medium is the perfect fit. Enough room to wear a sweatshirt under and still not bunch up or get too restrictive. If you're thinking about it, just buy it. I'm happy with my decision.
Surprisingly warm for how light the jacket is, I have been wearing it under my jacket since I live in Winnipeg and the winters can get really cold. Very stylish and functional. If you are looking for more utility I would suggest getting the earlier version of this jacket as this one I feel is more geared towards city/urban style.Sleeves are a bit long, I am 5'6 130 pounds and usually wear somewhere between small and medium. I Think I could have gotten away with a xs in this jacket, but wearing a 1/4 zip sweater underneath fills up empty space
I bought this as a surprise for my son. He had o e almost like it but the zipper broke and he wanted me to put in a new zipper. Well my sewing machine wasn't able to do it. To have someone do it was quite costly. So I ordered it and had it sent to him. He never buys anything for himself. He is divorced with 4 teenagers. Not much money. He was so happy about it. He loves anything north face. Thanks for great quality merchandise!!!
