I bought a sample of the Intense EDP never having smelled it before. I was a little bummed that it wasn't a spray, but rather a dabber. I feel like when a scent is smeared on that it may take away from what atomizer does for it. Regardless, this one is a pleasant summery smell. To me, it is very 'light.' My first time smelling it I could hardly pick up on it. It reminds me of something you'd wear in the evening after a shower on a warm summer night. My only thought is that people may only pick up on it if they're very close to you almost in an intimate setting. It's not a "buy" for me at this time, but I definitely recommend giving it a try. I do see it's appeal for those that seek a lighter Acqua Di Gio styled scent.

I then sprayed it on skin and my gosh... I almost wanted to apologize to the bottle, this thing smells freaking awesome! The citruses blend in very smoothly on skin, a world of difference when sprayed in the air and the way the Amberwood, Musk and Juniper developed after that was phenomenal. The scent even reminded me of a familiar vibe I also got when I smelled some designer private line/niche offerings earlier before. It's a rather simple composition, but the quality is definitely there. A worthy upgrade from the OG, I do wanna say it smells very masculine imo. I would suggest this to a 25+ age group. And although it is a summer scent, it has a density to it I would personally not recommend for very high heat summer days. Late spring or sultry summer nights will have this shine like a diamond, potentially might even be a summer pantydropper. I got about 8 hours longevity, very solid indeed. Do not blind buy and test it out first, but do so on skin. This can be a hit or miss seeing the slight controversy about the scent. My conclusion: i'm gonna sell of my OG bottle and be keeping this in the collection

I’ve raved and wanted this perfume for so long, ever since I received a sample from Sephora. I finnaly caved and bought it recently and love it! The scent is as amazing as the sample, and still smells to the same quality! The packaging felt to luxurious as well, and the scent!!! The only downsides where the cost, it’s truly not worth the cost, even though it smells amazing! It’s a great splurge though and is truly the smell of a beach and lemon! I am disappointed in the packaging though. When there it temperature/ humidity change, the perfume becomes very cloudy and less expensive looking. I’m waiting for it to change back!

DG Light Blue Eau Intense is quite possibly the perfect foray into the world of Summertime perfumery. It takes everything that made the Original Light Blue DNA perfect and amplifies it to 11. Clean, crisp, peppery, airy, yet masculine and strong. This is one of those fragrances where the magic truly lies in the sillage; everywhere you go you will be leaving a magical scent trail behind. Granted, this also smells pretty amazing for the wearer. In my experience, most everybody will love this bright citrus/aquatic and it belongs in every man’s collection. For even the most novice beginner up to the most experienced fraghead, Light Blue Eau Intense is one that will forever be regarded as a King of Summer.
