How hard can it be to paint a ceiling white? It can suck, sometimes especially for the DIYer who doesnt do it often. I've tried all sorts of products in the past. The pink stuff that dries white, the low odour stuff, the expensive stuff. They've all taken too long and too many coats to get right. This stuff will work in two coats. I used it after priming new plasterboard and I was actaully amazed how well it blended. I suck at rolling ceilings and get impatient as my arms tire out. With this though I slapped it on twice and it looks like heaven.Pro tips: Don't skimp on the product. Get it into your roller and work vertically then horizontally for the second coat.

Was using British Paints semi gloss enamel for all the trim throughout the house but switched to this based on the reviews (and price). Very happy with the way it performs. Brush strokes settle out much better and is easy to work with. Also the British Paints product was closer to a flat finish which I wasn't really happy with, the Taubmans has a little more gloss just like a semi gloss should be.

Very easy paint to apply and covers up dark paint surfaces extremely well. Doesn't run or seep under tape nearly as easily as water based paint. Dries to a solid finish.

After trying a couple of different expensive paints, this product does, actually, finishes flat and is easy to apply.My only concern with all ceiling paints, and this one included, is that the 16sqm/L rating is really misleading. I almost got only half of that per litre. However, this product still was the best coverage and finish result of the products that I tried.
Bought this to paint mended walls in common areas of an entire apartment block so it needs to be solid. Our small team painted over a period of 12 weeks, prepping with care and doing ceilings with the same paint to simplify the process. The results are very satisfying. Have had a move-out-move-in process happen also and you know how that can go with wall damage! Any small 'dings' were surface streaks only and cleaned up perfectly with a white sponge. Even the tradies I met in the store said that this is their favourite paint. And it smells good too.
This is a great quality paint. Most black paints leave roller marks and are quite patchy. This one is incredible how evenly it covers the wall and has zero marks. Only took 2 coats to perfectly cover a previously painted white wall.
Not really even sure what to comment on. I needed to paint my ceiling. I bought it, mixed it, applied it to the ceiling, it dried, it looked as good as I imagine a paint job on my ceiling would look. As for splatter etc, I was careful not to be sloppy so everything has looked good. One room painted two months ago still looks good. A few more ceilings to go so I guess the ultimate test will be what it looks like in a year. For me, a good price and it seems to do what paint should do. I am a novice/intermediate btw. A professional painter will likely see more than I do.
Stripped paint from wall in holiday shack which subsequently revealed old nail heads. Did one coat of this paint but due to exposure after a number of decades, the nail heads commenced to corrode through the paint. Used Dy-Mark Zinc Gal over the numerous spots where the nail heads were to cover the rust spots which was effective to not show rust coming through but after multiple coats of this paint, under LED lighting there are still spots in areas where the Zinc Gal was used. This has created a 'spotty' wall, so will need to try other brand paints to provide better surface under LED lighting. Very disappointing considering the money spent for a 15L container.
Was previously recommended this by a painter.Tried it myself and found that it had such poor coverage I had to edge twice and required 3 coats at least just to paint white over white walls mind you..The features were meant to be good opacity and coverage. This certainly wasn’t the case.Now I’m left with this big tub of paint that’s no use to me as it didn’t do the job..
Sales lady was trying to push me into another tin of easy coat, but I went for tradex, got it tinted to my specifications and I can confirm it is nice to work with, good opacity, good coverage. To me, it seemed far better than the previous tin of easy coat, which seemed to have less opacity and coverage and had an extreme smell of ammonia. Don't know what the chemical differences are, but the tradex is what I expect my paint to be like, not that easy coat stuff.
