Does not progress past the first loading screen. Have tried numerous times and stops at the same spot. I let it go for almost half an hour once and gave up.

Street Fighter retains its 2D gameplay, yet it uses 3D engine for polygons, especially in the areana background. But I find street fighter very difficult
Great game I can now play with my friend over the net Awsume
Really well ported from the xbox to PC, great game play, great graphics, great sound. However, if you are considering buying this - you must not use a wireless keyboard (some moves will not be achieved, as you need to press 4 buttons at once and pretty much no wireless keyboard can achieve that). In fact, with any keyboard it just isnt as good, this game needs a controller. I picked up two excellent quality USB PS3 controller clones from trademe for under $10 each - it made all the difference to the enjoyability of the game.
I first saw the gameplay promise of SF IV walking around akihabara in Tokyo earlier this year and was determined to purchase it - and I have not been disappointed. The gameplay is as simple and elegant as it was in our beloved SF II but the eye candy of 2D play in what looks to be a 3D format really makes it. The fighters are not loaded up with new special moves and what additions to gameplay there are are for the most part not intrusive, and probably give a small added degree of complexity that is welcome. The one qualm with gameplay is that it appears to be slower than previous versions. But this is only an issue for those like myself who grew up with a precise, almost automated view of the SF fighting world! For the price I paid for this, on the PC platform, it is well worth it if you were like me (ie not a hard core game player but with your favourites) and thinking about buying a PS3 just to play this (and in my case FIFA 10!!).
If you liked the old fast paced arcade Street Fighter action, then you will feel right at home with this game. The only thing you wont like is Games for windows live...which will continually make your life difficult. However the character modelling and skillsets are almost perfect. The stylisms you can add to the graphics are brilliant and the gameplay makes you feel like you're a 10 year old kid in the mall arcade, spending all of your pocket money again. This game is challenging though, the AI on the harder modes will make you weep, and you will learn to absolutely loathe the name "Seth".5/5, brilliant gameplay, simple, wonderful graphics, justice to the old school plus adaptation of the newer technologies...what more could you want out of a fighter game?
First of all I want to say I am a very big fighting style game fan.I have a Neo Geo and many of the big titles like Art Of fighting 3,Fatal Fury Real Bout,And King Of fighters games.I was a big fan of Street Fighter 2 and thats where Street Fighter 4 has brought this game to.It has the perfect control of the original and the next gen graphics. The best fighting game in 5 years!Play this one soon!
Okay I've just clocked it with Ryu, and theres just a few thing's to point out especially for those keen on buying it but want to get some hands-on experience review on it. It was great but somewhat disappointing in some aspect's as well.Graphics-4/5 It's lingered away from your water paint type era we related to in past Steet Figther Alpha game's and adopted everything from the original arcade hit Street Fighter II. Old skool gamer's can relate its very much polished and bought the game to "life", the 3D background is just awesome not that you have much time to enjoy it since the action is FULL-ON hardout. Old skool gamer's can relate its very much polished and bought the game to "life", the 3D background is just awesome not that you have much time to enjoy it since the action is FULL-ON hardout. It's great to notice the detail's in the character's expression's, the way each and every action motion sequence (especially the climatic effect of each victory with each and every body interaction between the two fighter's in realistic slow-motion).Sound- 4/5 you'll notice (but could be just the english dub as you can unlock each character's native language) that the voice over's in english are somewhat out of sync, but overall thats about it the soundtrack for the game is upbeat and pulsating, lol @ the pop-music type feel you get straight from the intro into the game but funnily enough it does suit that energetic beat-em up to it.Longeivity-5/5 If you've got mate's its easily a favourite for year's to come for both new and old skool gamer's if your into 1vs1 beat-em up fighting game's you will never go wanting again as this game is an Arcade style gameplay so refining your skill's even for experienced veteran's and new comer's will last awhile. However nothing's different from the character's move's apart from having the ability now to perform a Ultra-Combo set on a attractive scale of destruction with great camera angle's which compliment's the Super-Combo (same for each character as previous streetfighter title's ) so you can take this as a pro or con but dont expect much indifference to prior title's as a breakthrough here. Ryu still does his Hadoken styles and Ken still does his Shoryuken styles likewise.Overall- 4/5 - It's a MUST HAVE, i bought the collector's edition solely because ima old-skool Streetfighter fan even though it definetely is overpriced (not Mighty Ape's fault but the supplier's). Don't come looking for some relevation and meaningful storyline as this game definetely lack's it and couldve done a much better job with the ending's.Seriously will polish any Streetfighter fan's love and skill for the game as this is definetely worthwhile to practice for those arcade parlours to show off at!!Okay, even though you can change the difficulty level from easy, medium, hard you'll notice that this game ADOPTS THE ARCADE STYLE. I actually loved it to be honest, i was rusty and lost i admit a few time's to Sagat as my Rival Challenge. But that was great because Seth (The Final Opponant) is tooo easy Round:1 but Round:2 and 3 you'll find him in a completely different league and I suggest Aerial attack from mid-long range following close with a close-range melee type attack and fast otherwise you'll get spammed with automatic grapple's and teleportation counter-attack's). The animation on this game was a bit flawed and was VERY under-par you'd expect much better really with the cut-scenes (the reason i gave it a 4/5). Also the ending's are far too short as well. When I mean short i mean yawn and it's pretty much closing credit's with a overly cheesy guy rambling on about the philosophy of "Fighting without Fighting" or something corny like that. The extra's you get along the way are great, unlocking character's native languages is quite neat, hidden character's , movie's, art work gallery etc. I cant go too much into it but its looking good in that respect.A great gift from Capcom to Street Fighter Fan's regardless of its minor flaw's this one's a must-have for your PS3 collection
