I needed a 9u rack that enabled full access to using 9u worth of kit. This seemed to fit the bill and the quality of the product is excellent. Being metal, there is an earthing point that was easy to connect a cable into (used local earth via electric ring using earth only cable and wiring in only earth on plug). A full complement of mounting screws and clip in nuts are provided. The included shelf has a nice finish on it that fits neatly to the unit under it. I've got the unit floor mounted, and there are fitting points on the bottom, however, the back is nearly fully open. This is advertised as a wall unit, but unlike other units, that provide access points, this is a large void. Would recommend it to others (as long as you're not put off by having the back missing (which if you are wall mounting, actually makes life easier).

I had a project to install POE cameras connected to POE switches in a warehouse - the cameras would be mounted but I was not sure what I was going to do with the switches and other equipment I required until I came across the 9U wall-mount cabinet. The quality is fantastic as it is solid steel and it is ventilated which is what I require for my heat sensitive equipment. This will be the standard going forward.I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

The cabinet itself is very sturdy and pretty. We only have 2 panels, 1 switch and a tripplite UPS inside. After we lock the door, we won't be able to open it. Did a lot of tricks but I think the only thing that will work is to break the key knob.
Great size for small installs. Not as deep as I'd like, or option for vertical mounting items within (that are too deep for this rack)... Still, the rack mounts to the wall easily (though I'm using on the floor at present now). Love how smooth the hinge moves and the side panels come of easily (compared to my last small rack...)The room the rack is in does not have dedicated cooling or anything, so heat is an issue and items are spaced out. But now, I have packed the rack with a view short-body 1U servers, switches, and a couple shelves with small items placed within. Even with all of these consolidated in one space, the number of openings all around (versus solid sides and/or a glass door) means that a single exhaust fan is pulling out all the heat!I received ... MoreGreat size for small installs. The enclosure looks good, but the manufacture considers all users are experts, the manual has very limited information. This was my first time to install this, and I had to ask a few people and watched some online video to figure out a few things. The worst part is mounting instructions, I understand that the requirement could vary depending on where it is mounted to, but at least some guidance or tips or recommendations, even size of screws or bolts recommended, etc. There was nothing. So if you want to buy this, you will have to figure out everything by yourself.
This cabinet is very well built and very strong. It holds our smallish workstation/server PC and works great!
This is a durable high quality rack but mine must of missed quality control during production. The plastic tabs fall out of the panels and one of the panels was missing the bottom steel brackets that hold the panels in place. I can push the panel up with it locked and it will fall out. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I can have the side panels replaced but unfortunately that was not possible. The whole unit needs to be sent back which is very large, heavy and a hassle to return. If there was no issues with the panels I would give this 5 stars - Now Home Essentials Direct.ca won't let be purchase this unit again telling me there is a limit per person.
I was happy to receive this product because at the time I was currently having issues with one of my branch's going down due to suspected overheating of the devices in their old cabinet. This cabinet is quality built, it is vented open air and with spots to mount computer case fans. You can easily access the contents through the removable sides or from the front. Everything locks up secure both on the sides and front. We'll definitely be buying these for our other branches in the future.I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
The 9u Wall-Mount Rack Enclosure was easy to setup, install my gear, and protect my investment in hardware. The build quality is excellent. The locking front panel add security and cable ports adds cable management and clean lines to the Rack. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
