If you have issues with USB-connectors not latching and staying in place (most notably when trying to charge a phone), this cable won't likely solve the issue. Cable works well with equipment that does not have latching issues.

Perfect fit for my apple laptop. I use the adapter with my usb and mouse...…….
The plug is a little bulky and as such sometimes doesn't fit well and can come loose (for example trying to plug it into a phone with a case on. Other then this issue, it works fine and is plenty fast. I like the short length which was the main reason why I bought it.
This didn't actually work for my needs, but it appears to be a problem with the OTG gadget I need to plug in to my phone and not with the adapter, because it seems to work otherwise. You can definitely find these adapters cheaper, but I suspect the quality is a little better on a StarTech.
