On my 4th layer now and still this cheap crap looks cheap and crap. I have wasted so much time that paying more money for the quality paint would have been the best way to go. It looks thick in the tin but once it hits the walls itâs almost translucentâŠ. Do yourself a favour and save time and effort by avoiding this brand of paint and get the higher priced paints youâll be done quicker and with a much better finish

I tried this about a year ago and had to return it as it was not white at all, it's a creamy yellow colour. They ended up giving me tin of Taubmans as an exchange, which was fine.A year later, I thought I would try it again because I figured it must have been a bad batch and should be fine now. Nope, still creamy yellow. I dont know how it can still be like this but it is unuseable as ceiling white.

Itâs cheap, and I bought as ceiling paint to save some money. But the colour was more of an off white and was so translucent as I applied, looked like I was wetting the roof instead of painting it.After about 5 mins I quit and bought dulux.. just spend a he extra $$ save yourself an extra 3 coats

Great budget ceiling paint for, lounge bedroom areas. Bunnings staff, at my local seem to hate me for buying this product. )I have used this paint more than once.) I was told by a staff member that's cheap paint and not great. To which I replied cheap paint made at the Dulux factory. This seemed to leave the staff member lost for words.
I don't know who was expecting this paint to be brilliant quality given it's literally less than half the price of even budget-range products...but in terms of a basic product for basic jobs, it's perfectly adequate. I build art installations - this stuff is perfect for base layer kind of work. Didn't need medium, just a good old stir with a stick I found in the garden. Used a brush since my cheapey roller had carked it but it went on beautifully to an absorbent canvas, gave me pretty decent coverage given the huge absorbency of the surface. Surface was a natural/beige colour but one coat had it looking a solidly bright white. Even with one coat I got a workably smooth surface, was fine for pencilling onto and I could draw smooth lines without issue/veering. This paint is pure garbage. I moved to a cheap rental property and wanted to paint one of the small rooms, I was on a budget so chose this paint. I put two coats and the old paint was still quite noticeable, it wasnât I was on the fourth coat that I could see the new paint. Even though I got there at the end I was really frustrated and disappointed at the amount of time and energy just to paint a small room. Poor coverage for a ceiling.The amount to wait in between coats and the effort is really not worth it. Please do yourself a favour and stay away from this paint.
This paint is not white but more yellow. The problem now is the painted wall has a terrible smell omitting from it. Yes the wall was washed and primed before painting. Not happy because I now have to solve this foul odour.
Just got this to freshen up an already white wall which had scuffs and marks all over it and it was fantastic for that! Saved me $80 compared to any other paint available.I wouldnât use this to colour a wall if youâre after something vibrant or deep in colour.
I bought this because it was cheap and i only wanted to repaint my linen closet walls. It went on really thin and stayed that way. Very see-through after several coats. I do not reccomend. If you buy this you'll only end up having to buy something else so save the extra $20 and get something decent the first time 'round.

I squeezed the roller out to see how much paint was being held, it was a lot. I expect to complete 1.5 rolls floor to ceiling with a full roller. I couldnât complete 1 pass and the paint laid out on the wall in a very patchy pattern, requiring additional passes to spread the paint evenly. This slowed the work and increased the time required to paint a room. It took 2.5 hours to paint a 3 x 4 mtr room with a 9ft ceiling. From past experience, a room that size should take about an hour or less, depending on how much cutting in with a paint brush is required.I have used about 3 ltrs so far and I intend to mix 500 ml of water to the remaining 7 ltrs to see what happens. During clean up I was very surprised at how heavy the 14â long nap roller was. The roller is never âthat heavyâ usually. Evidence I feel indicating that the roller was clogged. I havenât clean it, leaving it wrapped in plastic for tomorrowâs painting. I thing I will squeeze out a good 250mils when I do clean the roller up. That is if it is not ruined.
