This harness is MAGIC! Our Black Lab would pull our arm off during walks and nothing stopped the pulling. The minute we put the halter harness on all pulling stopped. So much nicer to go on walks now!

Cutting into armpits- bloody

I am so very disappointed in this product. My dog has developed cuts under his arms, despite the foam padding, from using this product. A friend pointed out that my dog's gait had changed to accommodate this new halter. When I got home and checked it, I found he had grazing and blood under his arms. I felt so guilty for putting him through this. The wounds probably developed over a few days of using it. I thought this halter was supposed to be a solution to pulling, not a torture treatment. I emailed the company and sent them photos but they never got back to me. I can only assume they don't care. I no longer trust is company or their products.

Great though creates bald patches

This is a great product and stops my dog from pulling though it leaves him with two little bald patches where the rope loops through the rings. As he walks, the ropes slide back and forth depending on the tension and it rips his hair out. I have had to sew a piece of material that sits under the rings to protect his hair.

Stops pulling

I experienced so much relief the first walk I had with our puppy using this harness!Our border collie pup (18 weeks) is much easier to walk with this harness - it significantly reduces pulling. Our pup also likes to chew on leads, but this harness has a small line that connects the harness to the lead which is what creates tension through the harness. So, when she bites it, it triggers the tension. It means her lead biting bouts have been significantly reduced in duration and frequency.Both of these things, combined with our regular training, are really helping to improve her leash walking.The straps around the arms are padded and have clips at each end. I haven't noticed rubbing like some others, but will keep an eye on it the more I use it.

This halter definitely works!

After trying so many harnesses, all designed to stop pulling, I bought the Big Dog Halter. Talk about a difference. This one stopped my dog pulling instantly and so easily. It converts to a collar and I leave it on my dog as a collar and simply attach the leads when we go for a walk. I have a Groenendael (black Belgian Shepherd). This halter has transformed our walking. Finally, one that actually does what it says!

Works brilliantly

I have a 20+ kg border collie who is just 1 year old - plenty of puppy energy in him. He still tries to pull but stops as soon as we pull him back. It's easy to put on and comfy for him to run and play at the dog park when he's off leash too. Arrived the next day after ordering!
