Fantastic! I never pulled the trigger on prescription goggles before. After all, there is nothing to look at except a black line on the bottom of the pool, right? Not so. Now I don't have to keep my glasses in the lane to see the workout board. Now I can see the wall better. Now I don't have to squint at the clock during sets. Limitations: both eyes must be the same unless you mix and match multiple pairs. I'm a -4 in both eyes and it's a game changer. Thank you Speedo.

Goggles do what I wanted. I was not expecting perfect but I can see a wall clock across the room now when wearing them swimming. I’m still getting used to wearing them and getting them to seal completely to my face. Only minor adjustments needed while swimming to get that good seal. I no longer feel blind in the pool. Got a -8.0 diopter clear lens for indoor pool.

I don't recall the goggles I used to use (I'm just getting back into swimming), but they had the single adjustable nosepiece and boy I long for those days. The Vanquisher design for nosepiece is flawed to say the least. I watched the video on how to change the nosepiece no less than 10x and still struggled. Getting the old one out was easy, getting the new one in was a beast. My husband and I tried for the longest time until I resorted to using a needle nose pliers to gently apply pressure to pop it in. If you google, you'll see tons of people who have resorted to this and others that have snapped their googles just trying to get the nosepiece in. I was minutes away from just buying some tiny zip ties and going that route as one other buyer did instead.

These are the goggles our daughter‘s swim team uses. Our child needs two very different lenses. We buy two pairs and put them together as needed. It just makes one pair (they somehow don’t work upside down) but it is still reasonably priced for optical googles. They look sharp and seem to have a good suction. There aren’t a lot of goggles with diopter as high as -8 available without being individually manufactured.
Have purchased Speedo/these goggles forever. Only criticism is that whatever they use as anti-fog screen/agent?, fairly quickly degrades and renders goggles cloudy and useless. Which is really annoying since price goes up all the time ---- for goggles!By now, thought Speedo would have made a longer lasting goggle. I've been competitively swimming for 55 years, so. . .yes, realize company needs to make a profit (so why make any product last forever?), but companies that make reliably enduring products DO last! May Speedo work on this ~
I was limited in the amount of activities I could do on the water because of my glasses. Without them I just couldn't see. After losing a pair or two I started to reduce my time on the paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming. After purchasing the prescription googles I was able to see clearly again. They are comfortable, fit well and are reasonable priced. I am very grateful I found your site. Thanks
Second summer for my first pair. My backup pair still sits in package. Like them because they create a suction around my eyes, letting in zero water. The trick for me was in getting the straps just right. I keep the one over my pony tail longer that the one below. I have not tested them in the ocean as I am too old now to fight the waves, but that is the real test because the waves literally ripped my old snorkel goggles off my head!
Seems to be good quality with -5.00 correction. Tested child's vision vs regular glasses and even though no astigmatism correction, could see almost the same line on a Snellen chart (i.e. one line above was OK). They are regular speedo design which I don't necessary like due to the small lenses and thin straps which seem more suited to adult performance swimming than just for kids fun swimming. Child seems ok with them though. Adjusted nose piece to smallest size. I think sometimes water leaks in due to the design, but for swim lessons it works great.
My daughter only wears these goggles. I wish Speedo had other choices for girls/young women in terms of the model. There are enough girls/women that swim…time for Speedo to consider this when they are developing equipment. Does the Fatskin Pure Focus or the Speed Socket or the Fatskin3 Elite come in a woman’s version? Women/girls generally have a different size head/face.Additionally re the Vanquisher model, the nose piece is often hard to remove and replace with the right size.
Great goggles. Work even better than expected. I have very poor eyesight. While they don't match my prescription perfectly, they get close enough and it still makes a big difference. I was impressed how much easier it is to walk around at the public pool.Also I was pleased by how quickly this item shipped to me from SwimOutlet.com. I saw that the online reviews for the company overall weren't the best, but I am now under the impression that they are working hard to improve. This was a very good customer experience for me.
