OK, this is a PSA! To get the flavor to come out SPAM must be fried crispy! Very close to tasting like bacon. I found this flavor in the Philippines and it is the best only second to the Blackpepper flavored SPAM. Crispy, crunchy and hickory smoked, YUM!

My husband and I do enjoy the Hickory flavored Spam in place of ham in casseroles. I cube and add to boxed scalloped potatoes add canned peas and carrots for a fast affordable filling meal. I rinse mine before using to get rid of some of the salt.

I bought a can of Spam a few months ago just for giggles after hearing some guys talk about it on radio on day. I hadn't touched any in years and years.I have purchased both the hickory smoke and the bacon flavors and really enjoyed them cubed up and fried with eggs. A half inch slice cubed up and fried brown and crispy is pretty darn good with two or three eggs dropped on top of it.Only three stars as the sodium content is enough to blow your head off but in small doses.....good, good stuff.
I buy this to make Spam fried rice with scrambled eggs and peas so it is pink, green and yellow beautiful. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also make Spam potato hash. Sluce and freeze if you dont need the whole can.
Well, I do not really like Spam.However, being its "Hickory Smoked" I figured it might be ok. Well, But, Nope.First off it was an ok smoked flavor, so Spam lovers might like it.The bad is the salt level!Its got 30% Salt!It's like eating a teaspoon of salt per bite.If it were tuned down a tad-bit, might be better tasting.Like 15 % less.Because the smoked flavor is-not horable.Thanks - Sorry Spam Lovers Everywhere.
What can I say except that it a really good product. I eat Spam all the time. You can make all kinds of good meals with this or simply put some back for emergencies.
Hadn’t eaten Spam in 50 years or so but decided to try it again. Very good! I don’t remember why I thought I didn’t like it. Will try the lite version next
I was hoping this would be a big improvement over original spam....not so much.at the end of the day it's spam with a little smoke flavor, my dog liked it alot
iwanted bacon flavor spam and they sent me Hickory they can serious money favorite one and 18 alone I like to make that one because it's like something special cuz I don't eat Spam all the time because well it's not really good for you but it tastes good with viggies n toast or a tortilla and then I'll save some of it for breakfast with eggs n spinach and a burrito for lunch with some egg it's just for me so that's come to can go so far , my son kills one off on his own.
