Sophie Conran White Large Storage Jar

I have bought 5 of these in different sizes- they are lovely! Very classy looking! And would go lovely with any colour scheme. Love them

What a beautiful canister! This is SO well made, and the top has a silicone seal that seals the canister airtight. I see there are smaller canisters in this set, and I wish there was even a larger one, as this large size is more of the typical sugar container rather than the larger flour container size common in many kitchen sets. This gorgeous piece came in a beautiful box, which made it feel like a nice gift, rather than another kitchen item. I will definitely be ordering more of these as gifts for others, and I'm shopping NOW for more lovely Sophie Conran pieces! Thanks for this beautiful find, Wayfair!

Beautiful white canister, well made. Just had my kitchen redone. I needed a white canister to place against a patterned blue tile back splash. I actually bought two. I just wish they were a little taller. All in all I would definitely recommend them. Not only that but from the time I placed the order from Wayfair, I received them in a couple of days. Beautiful canister and quick delivery. Awesome!!

Beautiful but scratch too easily!

I registered for these for my wedding and received 13 place settings (1 extra!), the large and medium salad bowls, 8 rice bowls (the cutest!), 2 large platters, and 3 different sized casseroles. I will be returning the ENTIRE set. I have the sage, celadon, and white place settings and ALL of them are showing little metallic looking scratches. We do not abuse these dishes by any means- we don't use steak knives on them, rarely use knives at all on them- yet still, they are scratching. I'm surprised more reviews haven't mentioned this. The scratches are small, some may not even notice, but it has only been 6 months since our wedding and I want to have these dishes for years to come. I can't imagine how they will look in years- probably terrible. Definitely cannot recommend

I am so disappointed in these dishes. They became scratched within the first few uses from my flatware. I called Portmeirion and the only 'help' they could offer was to try different flatware (!!!) or scour them with a scrub like Bon Ami or Bar Keeper's Friend. Really?!?! I need to buy new flatware because your product is defective or hand scrub these dishes after each use? Well, I really liked these dishes and didn't love my current flatware so I purchased a new set of utensils. No improvement in the scratching. Another call made to Portmeiron, to tell them their suggestions did not work, resulted in being told that I should try to return them to Macy's. Delighted with my purchase!

I bought 2 of these to decant 2 flavours of cat biscuits into from large 2.5 kilo plastic bags. They don't take the whole bag but that's fine. Despite being in the sale, the quality is perfect. They look lovely, the glaze on them is also perfect. They have rubber seals on the lids to keep the content fresh. They are much nicer to have on my kitchen counter than the bags the cat food comes in. The packaging they came in was also pretty - sturdy, decorated cardboard boxes which were well protected within outer plain cardboard boxes. So they arrived safely with no damage. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Don't buy

I have 4 settings in white, 4 in celadon, and 4 in pebble. I also have multiple serving pieces. I thought it would be fun to mix and match the colors. These dishes do not hold up well. Several dinner plates have cracks across the middle that do not extend up to the edges. On other dinner plates, the finish has worn off in the middle, leaving gray patches. Since this has only affected dinner plates, it must be a flaw in the manufacturing process.

Excellent Canister

We're using this for coffee. It's big enough for a pound of grounds and a scoop. It has a great seal. Looks nice on the counter. I also have the larger one.

Obsessed

I am obsessed with this Collection! All of it!!! Absolutely wonderful and the packaging it arrives in is Amazing. Smitten with Sophie Conrad White Collection.

I had been looking for storage jars for my new kitchen for months; these are perfect. I have 1 large and several medium. Lovely quality, rapid delivery. A perfect purchase.
