Absolutely love the body wash. Smells fabulous, lathers up fantastic, feels luxurious.I was however disappointed in the delivery, packaging arrived w the shipping box broken /torn, smashed in one corner. The liter of body wash was all over my entire order. Which had items that were intended for gifting. I was able to salvage almost everything for personal use. The liter of body wash was more than 1/4 spilled. So I did not get full bottle(one liter size) of my body washVery dissatisfying , but I do give five stars to the quality, smell, feel etc of the product, it’s wonderful.Also note that I do not believe that Sol de Janeiro had anything to do w my issues, I firmly believe it was in shipping

I originally tried the Bum Bum cream by itself instantly fell in love. I wanted to try other Bum Bum products but wasn’t sure I could justify spending that much on a body wash. It provides the perfect amount of moisture to your skin is not overly hydrating, so it doesn’t cause an oily/dirty feeling following use. Lastly as others have mentioned, words can’t describe how amazing the fragrance is. I literally have to fight my intrusive thoughts DAILY because the smell is so good I want to eat it. The smell is not only amazing while using it in the shower, but actually lasts on your skin. That paired with the Bum Bum cream, and you have the ultimate combo. I’ve seen others mention that the cream fragrance lasts around 12 hours on its own (still a long time). But, if you’re like me you want to lock in smelling amazing indefinitely, this is a serious game changer. I’ve been complimented on my fragrance 16 HOURS LATER after using these two products together. And that was AFTER a full day of work AND sweating. I got complimented while using the cream alone, but had to be in close proximity for someone to notice. After the boost of using this product, strangers have literally stopped me to compliment my fragrance after smelling me in the 2 seconds I breezed past them. If you want to maintain clean, hydrated skin also want smell like heaven 24/7, you have found your answer!!

I absolutely adore Sol de Janeiro products in general, but this body wash is truly amazing! It's my favorite bodywash ever!! Smells divine while fully cleansing my skin. I pair the body wash with the coordinating body cream and fragrance mist for a maximum strength all-day scent. I've never smelled a body wash that smells as good as this one. It's kind of pricey, but it's worth it if you want to have the ultimate plans with an invigorating addictive fragrance. I highly recommend this body wash. I will definitely repurchase. It rinses clean and doesn't make my skin feel sticky or tacky. I love how rich and thick this lather is. It feels like a luxury spa at home.

Delightfully Creamy!

I really like this product more than I thought I would. It smells great which was to be expected. What I didn't expect was the luxurious texture of the shower gel. It is a combination a cream/gel that feels great on your skin. It's very moisturizing and has a nice lather without being ridiculous and child-like with the bubbles. If you are doing a start to finish '62 routine, you have to have this. If your budget is tight and can only splurge on one thing, this is a good choice. Its one of SDJ's better priced items & something you can get the feeling of a little piece of paradise every time you shower!

Smells great but that’s it

Bought this because I adore the scent of the matching body mist and bum bum cream, because of this I jumped straight in and bought the big bottle. Was really looking forward to using this but I have to say I was really disappointed. Does it smell just as amazing as the other products, yes. Does it foam up, give a decent lather and leave you feeling clean, absolutely not. I had to use a shocking amount of this shower gel to get a semi decent lather even with loofahs, mitts and scrunchies, it was far more work than a shower should be. The product is well packaged and the gel itself looks pretty, has a sheen/gloss to it, this might be part of the problem? So soft!

This showel gel makes your skin so soft!!! Before I get out bath/shower I lather it all over and let it sit for a few minutes then rinse off last minute before i get out and skin goes so so soft! Especially on the legs after shaving! They go Silky smooth! And this stuff makes your bathroom smell so nice when you use it, my partner started nicking it when he was in the bath and I could smell it from down the hallway, smells so lush! And then after you get out bath/shower I always cream or oil with the collection and then spritz down with the 62 body spray, I use the whole collection! Surprisingly Awful

I'm a huge fan of SDJ products and have been buying them for years online and in-store at Sephora. I had never tried the shower gel before though and expected it to be just as good as every other product, so I went for the gusto and got the biggest bottle. I was so disappointingly wrong! It's very thin and watery, not thick and creamy at all. It just drips off my washcloth. It barely has a scent either. I don't know if I got a bad batch but it is truly awful. If this is the norm for this product then the whole formula needs an overhaul. The fact I paid $56 for this mess is so irritating. I have to mix it on my washcloth with another shower gel that is actually thick just so I can use it up. I get mad all over again every time I take a shower.

Upon initial review..

Just got this product in & im new to the sol de jeinero line. On first use i LOVE this product. I purchased the "jet set" bundle which includes the body wash, bum bum cream, & body spray. So far ive used the body wash & body cream & im in love. I feel like i didnt need the body spray right now seeing as though im going to bed but if it were day time & i was headed out, id probably spray a little but i felt like all 3 would be over kill for now. I will say this is NOT a floral type scent at all, so if you're looking for that type scent this isnt it. It has heavy notes of musk almost smells like a vanilla coconut scent & im not big into coconut but it balances out. So far im lovinh it & if anything changes I'll update this review.

wow i’m shocked, works way better than i imagined.

I used to use all natural bar soaps and fragrance-free eczema products (I don’t have eczema but my skin is seriously so dry I was desperate). I really wanted to switch for something more fun (plus, nothing I used seemed to be locking in moisture for my skin. My skin would go dry by the end of the day!).
