I've tried a fair few bar brands now and currently, since the EHP **** bars have gone out of production, Smart Protein bars are the best tasting bars. Of course that's subjective and I only mean when compared to similar high performing bars: 21g of protein and 1.8g carbs for a 60g bar which is basically top rank, you rarely get better than that. I haven't tried the weird flavours though, just the choc and peanut types.

I love the taste, texture and macros of these bars. They kinda reminded me of nougat that I used to devour as a kid. Such a treat. When youāre trying to be a healthy eater, but missing dessert and feeling deprived, these really hit the spot and **** cravings for poor quality treats. Far far better than Quest or any other bar on the market, and Iāve tried them all!

These are the best protein bars I have ever tried. All natural ingredients, great amount of protein for the calories, awesome range of flavours and satiating when hungry. I like that they arenāt coated in chocolate but if you want a chocolate hit there are flavours that satisfy that craving. My favourites include apple pie, cinnamon donut, coconut apritcot, and rose and pistachio, but letās be honest, I havenāt tried a bad flavour yet and I m pretty sure Iāve tried the full range now.

I decided to buy these bars after reading the good reviews. I was craving cookie dough as a snack and was on a mission to find an amazing cookie dough protien bar. I can safely say these bars didn't dissapoint! Cookie dough is my favourite so far but I also like the coconut and marshmallow choc biscuit. Still working my way through the flavours and have only found one I didnt enjoy, the apple pie, I didnt like the apple bits in it. As another reviewer said the texture is chewy and chalky at the same time, I personally like the texture, it's much nicer than quest bars. Will be continuing to buy for sure!
I've always got a guilt free snack drawer ready loaded to avoid any 'omg did I just each a family block of chocolate AGAIN' moments... I didn't mind the taste of the strawberry cheesecake yet the consistency to me was not the best. I had read a previous review about popping in the oven or micowave ( aka micro - war-vee if you are Nigella Lawson ) so tried that for half of my bar and VOILA mind blown ! Great way to change a simple protein bar to a super delicious mouth sensation.
I Unpacked my protein bar during a long trip and it did not disappoint, I actually felt naughty eating it, it tasted so good. Iām not usually a protein bar fan, most of them taste like cardboard and leave a horrible after taste. The strawberry cheesecake was the exact opposite, the taste was Devine!! It actually tasted like a cheesecake and the bursts of strawberry throughout the bar made it even more stand out!!It really satisfies any sweet craving and made you feel like youād eaten something substantial as well.If youāre are after a protein bar, you need to buy this one!!!
AJ's tastebuds are likely munted. These bars taste great, and have a very pleasant mouth-feel as they are cold-pressed - because of this method, they will not harden over time like other high fibre protein bars do.The lack of sugar alcohols is a definite plus as they tend to give a saccharine/sickly sweet/slightly burning sensation.However, beware of some of the flavours containing cocoa, as they seem to have slightly lower protein content (18g+ vs 20g+) and their texture is slightly drier.I recommend Banana Bread (tastes just like Banana Bread) and Mango Cream (tastes like a Weiss Bar)
These are the best protein bars around. They are really delicious! You donāt have to feel guilty about eating them as they arenāt bad for you. They come in a wide range of flavours, so thereās something to suit everyone. Nutrition Warehouse stores have a good selection of flavours so you can always get your favourite bars.

The bar was split into thirds & were served at room temperature, chilled & heated for taste testing. Over all three serving tests, they all kept their smell of that strawberry cheesecake, mixed with a jam-drop biscuit smell. What I did love is the fact the chilled one didn't come out wanting to break teeth unlike many other bars šš¼š The winner for me was heated in the microwave... OH MY GOODNESS, if you don't eat your protein bars like this, it's time to make the switch! It was smooth and delicious & tasted like a fresh shortbread that's still soft right from the oven! I had seen a few other posts about this so I was very curious. I tried it first as is straight from the packet and admit I was pleasantly surprised. The flavour is very yummy, not overwhelming or artificial. I did find it a bit dense but I find that with all protein bars. I then also microwaved half of it and that certainly changes the texture. I honestly donāt know which I prefer as I like both! The main thing for me is that I had this as my afternoon snack on a day when I was desperately craving junk food, operating on little sleep and crazy busy at work. Iām thrilled to say I didnāt feel the need to eat anything else after this and I got through the rest of the day!!
