Skyy Vodka 700ml

Clean and filtered to perfection this vodka I love using for all kinds of cocktails. I prefer this with a few pearl onions. Add a bit of simple syrup and a splash of lime with a twist for a Vodka Gimlet. Typically served with gin (although more and more people are ordering a Vodka Gimlet as the flavor is a bit more smooth) I prefer vodka. If you're a fan of making vodka drinks like this at home store your vodka in the freezer to keep it primed for mixing. Deodorizers smoke filled clothing so well. You can actually do this if you haven't time for a proper dry cleaners service. I've used it on several occasions just do a patch test first. Sky Vodka is perfect warm or cold and creates smooth cocktails every time!

Skyy was my college vodka. It was cheap enough to afford, and beat Aristocrat without a doubt. One thing that has always caught my attention was Skyy’s wonderful ability to chill. Compared to other vodkas, it seems to get even closer to freezing. If you leave a bottle of Skyy in the freezer for a day and leave it out for a few minutes, the bottle will start to frost up on the outside. The same thing happens with a shot poured in a glass. Skyy gets thicker when chilled than other vodkas, too. This probably attributes to the frost effect. Whatever the case, I attribute these to the quality, whether it means the water content is higher or some unknown factor.overall good taste vodka will use again

When I was in my 20’s I used to drink a lot of cheap flavored vodka either as shots or in a super sugary drink. I stopped drinking vodka as I stopped drinking to get drunk because I assumed that all vodka was gross like the cheap stuff. This vodka proved me wrong. I was blown away with the fact it didn’t smell like much when the bottle was opened and I don’t have to mask the taste with something super sugary as a mixer. Great for screwdrivers and I suspect would be great in a Bloody Mary. And the bottle is gorgeous!

The bottle is crystal blue and really stands out among other vodka bottles.Again, this is another vodka that does not to well as a shooter, but does much better as a mixed drink. When taken alone, it does seem to burn and leave a "rubbing alcohol" aftertaste, which is less than desirable. It does add a bit of sweetness to the mixed drink which some people prefer.Overall, skyy vodka is definitely not the worst vodka I have ever tasted but not the best either. For that, I give it 3 stars.

Skyy Vodka - No headache!

I am only a Vodka & Wine drinker. For years I thought I would have to give up Vodka all together because I started getting horrible headaches with just one drink. Then my sister turned me on to Skyy Vodka. It is the only Vodka that does not give me a headache and it tastes so much better that all the others! It is the only vodka I will drink - and it costs so much less that most of the others. Total Wine is the only place we shop for our Vodka and Wines and the Pandemic has made us customers for life. Not only do they carry Skyy - but they have helped us find "affordable" good wine that we are buying by the cases for us and our adult children that have moved home! Hubby was getting ready to kick them out because they were drinking all our good wine!
