I know people have raved about these Sire Larry Carlton guitars but they are absolutely right to do to!As an owner of a Les Paul Custom and a Standard, I was unsure how the Sire would perform in comparison, but the build quality and finishing detail is unlike anything I've seen at the c.£500 mark. Plays nice, sounds nice, feels nice. The pickups are lower output, more akin to a vintage style, but that helps provide nice clarity when matched with gain. The gloss finish on the body and the satin finish on the neck is really great.I'd happily drop £1000 on one of these and still feel like I had a good deal.
