Simple Solution Hardfloor Stain & Odour Remover 750 ml

This product is designed for removing pet problems on hard surfaces such as hardwood floors and tile. Well, I certainly do have these types of problems. I have cats and young grandsons (!). The cat problem, fortunately, is just throw-up at this time – due to hair balls. Most of the time, the cats hit the carpet, but occasionally, they do their thing on our kitchen hardwood floors and bathroom tile. Yes, Simple Solution is effective at cleaning up the mess on hard surfaces. But, then again, my detergent with bleach, or my detergent with oxygen, or even my window cleaning solution cleans up these messes and just as effectively. And, the odor is gone too. Really, does a hard surface pose a challenge for cleaning solutions?Now for the young children problem with toilets, this is a challenge because urine can get into grout. Is Simple Solution effective in cleaning grout, which to me is part of a hard surface, albeit, maybe a more porous surface than sealed hardwood or porcelain tile. Unfortunately, Simple Solution did not work on grout. So, it is only a partial solution to cleaning a tiled surface. Maybe this test is beyond the scope of the product. That’s fine, but I already have a cabinet full of cleaning products that work well on hard surfaces.

I recently moved into an old farmhouse that we're renting. There are hard wood floors throughout and they were in terrible condition and STUNK! Thanks to using Simple Solution hard floor stain and odor remover the dual action formula, they definitely look and smell better! It took out most of the old grungy dirty stains and eliminated the smell completely! This stuff really works! Even my landlord was highly impressed with how clean I got it just using Simple Solution hard floor stain and odor remover. He has now decided to buy it for ALL of his apartments and rentals!

I was excited to be offered the chance to try this product in exchange for my honest evaluation as I live with several elderly cat fur babies who are not as well behaved as they were for many years. So we have some problems on the floor around the litter boxes.I have concrete floor on my screened in porch and wood laminate floors in most of the rest of my home however, the floor in the small room where boxes are located is covered with vinyl sheet flooring around the litter boxes. And on the concrete f,loor of the porch where a second set of boxes are located. Th4ese areas of the bathroom and porch were becoming stained and hard to clean. The product information on the bottle said it could be used safely on both of these types flooring. Only “sealed wood” is listed as far as wood flooring goes. So within my home I knew to not use it on my laminate flooring.My experience with this hard floor cleaner was mixed and not as successful as I had hoped it would be. If I was able to catch the problem within a few minutes of when the accident occurred, it worked OK on the concrete and the vinyl sheet flooring. It cleaned and deodorized these areas fairly well.. However, my attempts to clean away older stains did nothing to improve the appearance of the stain on either of those floors. I followed the instructions on the bottle completely and removed the liquid immediately after spraying it on the floor as the instructions indicated I should do. The product says it is meant to be useful for old stains, but for me it did not do so.So I offer an opinion that you might have better results, however, can only give this product 3 stars and can not recommend it's use on old stains.
