I bought one of these on a whim around a month ago after getting fed up with continually replacing Nylex pump sprayers which I have been more than dissatisfied with. I took home and used and it was fantastic, particularly the built in battery operated pump. I went to Bunnings today to buy another two for different herbicides and could not find. I enquired after the product through a team member who googled. I was advised there was no stock at any surrounding stores and then told that it will no longer be stocked at Bunnings. I am very disappointed. With a price tag of $65 it was far superior and a much better low cost spraying product then I have ever acquired. Please reconsider stocking.

I purchased one of these. It says you can extend the wand, which I tried to do. In the process the wand assembly just fell apart and a whole lot of little bits fell on the ground. I have tried to figure out how to re-assemble the wand, but not luck. No on-line support. I tried that. So I will just take it back

Great unit, beats all the previous spray units I have had hands down. I have now done three sprays, front yard, backyard, pool area and stairs up to front entrance and the battery is still going after just one initial charge.If I absolutely have to pick something on it it would be the spray nozzle, it doesn’t matter how you adjust it the spray comes out the same.Would and will recommend to anyone I know.

I brought this two days ago returned it due to valve on spray handle not closing of liquid.Got another one exact same problem. Did contact silvan the makers guy told me he would look into it and get back to me, didn’t happen.
Charged it once and it stayed strong through 2 full loads no sweat.Have not kept track of the time it lasts until flat, but considering it's recharge time it seems easy enough to charge between refills and get quite a lot done in a day.Definitely a lot easier on the shoulder when all you need to do is press the button and aim.
Great little sprayer. Have used silvan in there commercial range and found them lacking reliability.This one was blocked in the nozzle with a bit of plastic but was easily removed.Makes spraying a breeze with nice constant flow.Keep clean and am sure it will be a winner.
This sprayer works well until the very small in-tank filter blocks. To access this filter you need very good DIY abilities as six recessed screws have to be removed and the two-part red top lifted off first. Putting it all back together again is even more difficult. If you have already purchased this unit use an external pre-filter when adding any liquid.
Bought this product today and used it to spray weeds in my back/front yard.Very easy to use, shoulder strap has a little cushion/padding.On/Off button is on the tank, so if you need to stop & start it's easy enough but not as handy as a trigger.Stores very easily without getting the hose tangled.
Went in to Bunnings to buy a garden sprayer of different brand, but out of stock. Decided to then buy the Sylvan one as a temporary fill in. Having just tried out this unit, I am really impressed, nice tank capacity, easy controls, and pressure more than adequate. No longer going to buy the other brand, but will get another Sylvan unit, one for pesticides, one for fertilisers, that way we won't compromise plant health from residue trace chemicals.
After using a 5l plastic Nylex sprayer which required constant pumping and always felt like it was one pump away from failing I decided to try this 5l battery powered sprayer from Silvan and to date its chalk and cheese.. Charge the inbuilt Li-ion battery, fill the sprayer and hit the on button and away it goes (no more pumping), battery easily coped with three empty's of the 5L tank today and suspect it has plenty of power left. Very easy to carry with your hand as well and the on/off switch is conveniently located. Very impressed so far.
