Love the over ear design compared to the RMCE-BTE2. Sound quality is better as well (not as good as wired, but it's Bluetooth so get over it). But the earpiece and carrying case design isn't great. About a month into my purchase I was removing the left dongle from the case and the two pieces of the dongle (the lead to the earbud and the battery/receiver/switch) separated, revealing some wires. It's held since then, but it flops around and is generally annoying. Fine, let's just get it replaced. Apparently not an option unless I just want a whole new set (which I don't; the right dongle and the carrying case/charging station are all in working order).

Highly valued!

I found it instantly to setup to bluetooth. Easy to charge and great sound quality. The new feature is the Environment Mode and I imagine it would be great for those working in warehouses who need to hear what is going on. It replaces a Plantronics headset, a Bose earphone and works great for phone calls. I received the order the next day on a Sunday morning. It can handle some sweat and the comfort admittedly is better with these than the cable. I still feel the cable offers the best sound though the bluetooth has obvious everyday advantages such as worry-free movement without cables.I've been without a phone for 7 years and having a shure earphone is like getting part of my life back. Had the true wireless bluetooth optionfor a few weeks now. I previously had the other Bluetooth model and wired SE215. I have had no issues so far in line with normal use. Fit is perfect, sound - to me, is perfect and the bluetooth works great!Outside of normal use, if you want to try to wear these with a motorcycle helmet, be prepared to hurt your ears while taking the helmet back off since the little battery packs get caught when pulling the helmet off.Overall, as I did with my previous connections: wired and bluetooth, I would always recommend these products to those that are in the market for a new listening apparatus.

I have had Shures since the E500PTH and rockin the SE535 for the last several years. The TW2's for me are a much needed upgrade for my SE535s that beats many wireless earphones/earbuds in the areas that matter to me.The overall design is just okay. In a world of climate change and sustainability, the packaging is unnecessarily big. The case itself as a reviewer mentioned is the same case from the TW1, literally the same case cause the label on it says TW1. It would have been worth the effort to relabel them TW2 or remove that old TW1 tag completely - the way it is now it makes you feel like it's last year's model or refurbished - very confusing. The charge indicators on the case are nice, the shell feels durable and there's space inside for a bluetooth/gps tracker.Easy enough to connect to the SE535 and connection is rock solid. Some complain they are difficult to put on, I find they are difficult to take off, wanting to stay around or in my ear.The ShurePlus Play app feels rudimentary, you can't even pair in-app - it tells you to manually open your bluetooth settings. Some EQ settings, environment mode and a music player section for stored media feels meh. I do like that it shows battery level of each earphone. The sound is incredible. I may be able to tell a slight difference from wired but not much. Still light years ahead of my Jabras because, duh. Also call quality is fantastic, I am usually on 5G or VoWifi calls on TMobile with a Oneplus 9 Pro phone, callers tell me I sound crystal clear and they do too. Environment mode captures too much wind/traffic/background instead of speech.Coming from Jabras I'm not yet used to pressing behind the ear rather than in/on it but I don't mind using my phone and the buttons are responsive.Battery life amazing 5 Hours of music and they dropped maybe 20-25%, the phone use one will drop more.Bluetooth range is much further than anything I've used. There's room for improvement but these are a solid entry I'm thrilled.

Have not been happy with any of the previous iterations of Shure IEM Bluetooth products. However, with steady iterations over the years, we finally have a fantastic solution for wireless connectivity. Congratulations Shure! It is evident that Shure is using nicer DAC's in these headphones than I've used in standard contexts over the years. Additionally, I believe the custom amplifier configs (for each model of earbud) makes a huge difference in sonic performance of the headphones. By comparison: a standard DAC that one would find kitted with their laptop or phone (even a Lightning dongle) has no knowledge or tuning of the headphones they may be attached to. This flat, wide-ranging, and user-configurable imaging space is truly a unique feature in the market of Bluetooth headphones.Beyond the truly excellent sound performance, the batteries are absolute tanks and the headphones are definitely comfortable to wear. The buttons are configurable and functional.I believe the biggest room for improvement with the next generation will be in microphone clarity and "environment mode" performance. However, I would continue to buy this model again (for years to come) without hesitation if they are not iterated on.

This is the wireless BT adapter I've been waiting for
20 December 2021

I've been using the BT1 and BT2 adapters for a few years with my SE425 and now SE535 earbuds. The sound of the BT2 was a great improvement over the BT1, but had that funky dongle/necklace thingy to deal with. It was exciting to see the True Wireless Gen 1 adapter drop about 1.5 years ago. I almost jumped on that one and sure enough, the day I went to order it, found it was no longer available. Besides, the reviews were pretty bad for that one, so I wasn't that upset. I'm happy to report that all of the shortcomings of the Gen 1 have been overcome with the Gen 2 Wireless adapters. I've been using them for about a month now and haven't found any issues, in my opinion. Yes the things that are behind your ears are kinda weird looking but I don't find them to be a problem, even with Covid masks. The sound is superb and every bit as good as the BT2. I have not compared to wired but I'm really not interested in that anyway. All I know is that the music sounds great as is. The charging case is well thought out and only slightly larger than the case that came with my SE535s. When the case is charged it will provide 3 full recharges to the buds before needing to be charged up again. The app that runs on your phone is excellent! Lots of control of the sound and function of the adapters. While I have not tried other company's wireless offerings (other than some over the ear Sennheisers many years ago) I rate these as excellent and well worth it.

Hands free phone calls while driving, listening to music files, radio, and podcast, what's not to love in my new True Wireless Secure Fit Adapter Gen 2 blue tooth adapters. I'm a working musician who uses the Shure PSM300 in-ear monitoring system to hear my upright bass and vocals when I'm gigging and rehearsing. At higher volumes it helps to maintain my intonation on a fretless instrument and vocal pitch. In-ear is handy when I'm working on the fly to clarify the chord changes while performing new material. I was tired of constantly replacing the cheap blue tooth ear buds I'd been using so I decided the Shure product would be worth the expense in the short as well as the long run. So far, I'm pleased with the sound quality and portability of the True Wireless Secure Fit Adapter Gen 2 blue tooth adapters. Shure should develop an in-ear monitor system that employs blue tooth technology for the earbuds of the future. Getting rid of the wires is a dream worth bringing into reality.

I call BULLSHIZNIT! 1st of all these sound amazing (do hv the 535se hooked up); but on top of it it has preset audio EQs (including "BASS boost") AND u can create ur own EQ presets in real time! Let me tell u the bass u can get out of these things is just stupid. On occasion I listen to house, rap, and scratch and when set too high I can't enjoy the rest of the sounds. If u like that, it's there bro/sis & I recommend "Bass Attack" from the late 90s.I'm sorry Shure but I have to say the music player part of app stinks. Problem is the compatible bit rates is too low. Most of my music exceeded the bit rate cap; so the music wouldn't play. Anyway, to me all the effort Shure put into making the app an adjustment engine for wireless adapters is way more valuable when u can use any music player, youtube, whatever. These do support aptX and play high-res audio. This doesn't have sound isolating whatever; but didn't seem to be a problem to me. I do recommend Comply Foam tips. Never used? Missing out.By the way customer support it awesome! (When I was trying to figure out music player compatibility)

I had been eyeing these for a while. They sound great and feel decent. I had the RMCE-BT2 for a very long time and they were quite frustrating to use -- especially while running or storing in a pocket. These are much better. They aren't the most snug fit for exercising so I do notice the back seems to bounce around a little when I'm running. In general that's not an issue though and if they were any tighter around the ear they likely would be uncomfortable.I wish they were slightly easier to use with multiple devices. I often switch between my phone, ipad, and computer and sometimes have to put them back in the case and then put them in pairing mode to get the transition to work. But again this is much easier than with the RMCE-BT2. I also just got these about a month ago and the connector on my left se215 started to short and then broke (this all happened without me disconnecting the earbud from the tw2's). I was surprised because I've owned this same pair for almost 7 years without an issue. I hope it's not related but worth mentioning.Altogether, these are great. I really hope I can get the earbud fixed or replaced soon so i can start using my se215's with the tw2s again!
