I was suckered by an XR 1000 at the NEC bike show once upon a time and have owned Shoei helmets ever since... Well, ever since I could afford them! The X-Spirit III is light as a feather, has a soft sweat wicking lining, has a very effective ventilation ducting and a good field of vision. I went with the matte black finish because it was on a steep Black Friday discount and because Shoei seems have lost it's sense of taste in the graphics department (it was always questionable, but they used to have some gorgeous race reps). Cheaper helmets are offering quite a lot these days, but the Japanese brand is still just that bit more special.

X-Spirit 3 is probably one of the best looking helmets on the market.Super comfy and you gain 15 horsepowers on your bike just by wearing it. Get a reflecting visor too - Chicks love it

I had Shoei X-Twelve Daijiro memorial one. It was given by my first boyfriend who passed away in 2009. That helmet was great. Suddenly, I have received an email about this new version Shoei X-Spirit 3 Helmet - Daijiro. So I went online and bought this new one. Great services and commubication! Can pay on financial with 0% interest for 9 months! Great offer!I am not a regular motorbike rider but I can tell there is a big difference between X-Twelve and X-Spirit 3. X-Twelve was very comfortable but X-Spirit 3 is even better! It has a lot more padded internally to support your head. When travelling fast, I don’t even feel my head and helmet is being blown by the wind! It’s absolutely amazing!
