I had never been satisfied with the performance of the factory fitted rear brake on my MTB. This new caliper has made a huge difference and provides much improved stopping power progressively applied. A real confidence boost on those steep downhill descents.
Brake caliper was in great condition and arrived earlier than expected. Ordering another one from Cambria now!
Braking power is fantastic. As with all shimano hydraulic brakes they were easy to install and bleed. I would recommend them to everyone.
having ,read a lot of reviews of bikeinn, i expected this to be a multiple month ordeal. i was pleasantly surprised to have the items within a couple of weeks. i'm happy to wait a little bit longer than a local delivery if the price is right. in this case it was. as long as you're aware your goods are coming internationally, it's not a problem. i received genuine shimano parts that were not in stock anywhere in australia
Well, you get what you pay for. Budget friendly simple 4 potfrom shimano.One strange thing - i've noticed metal dust coming out with the brake fluid when i was bleeding it - that scares me, hope it will last. It will take some time to bleed it properly and run all air out of the system because bleed port and hose are from the same side of caliper, not a big deal just takes some time.
these brakes are well made and do a better job than std brakes. all bikes should be fitted with them
