I didn’t even know Sharpie made gel pens, but I’m glad I do now! The particular set I received for review consists of darker colors that have great versatility for everyday use. It writes smoothly as gel pens do, and the ink output is consistent. I like the non-slip designed rubber grip packaging too, which makes it feel nice to write with. The white body and silver logo looks sleek and clean. I also like that the small metal band above the grip indicates the color of the ink. I did notice no bleed, but there is slight smearing within 1 second of putting down the ink. After 1.5-2 seconds, the ink was dry and smear-proof. This means it’s great for right handed writers, but maybe not lefties.

I am loving this set of Sharpie Gel Pens! The white barrel color is so sleek and makes me feel like I am using a high end writing tool. The fact that they are retractable makes them easy to use and I don’t have to worry about ink stains inside my bag. The pens have a rubber grip making them comfortable to write with and the ink is so smooth. I like using colored ink when I sign cards to make them a little more special and this set includes 4 beautiful jewel tone shades of ink in purples and blues. These pens are fabulous and the Sharpie brand is always on point. I highly recommend!

This pack has a bright blue ink pen and a faded blue ink pen as well as a dark purple and lighter burgendy color pen . Writes smooth and so far I haven’t had issues with smudges and I am a lefty so when I write with gel pens it smudges to my hand my lefty’s know what I am talking about . These pens are good over all . I would recommend

These markers are just okay. I was anticipating them to be super smooth as I usually have good experiences with sharpie products. The packaging was very clean and easy to open which was nice to see. The pens them selves are comfortable to hold and feel like they’re good quality overall. The colors are nice and I really like that the little ring above the finger grip tells the color that the pen is. They are also non-bleed on an average piece of paper. The reason I’m giving these pens 3 stars despite the other benefits, it still writes like an average gel pen. When using them, they did the clicking thing that some pens do to get it to write smooth. Fantastic gel pens. My big fan of gel pens. I'm a big fan of the g2s. They have nice Sleek packaging easy to tell which colors are what and what pen is what color? I will say in this pack I have almost a duplicate of a color. I would say the blues are very close. One is a little bit more teal while the other blue is extremely light blue. I'm not a huge fan of the very light blue because it is again quite light for a sharpie or pen. I'm not quite sure what I would use it for other than maybe drawing and even then I don't know that these are the pens that I would buy for that use. Other than that I am a big fan of the style and The writing thickness if that makes sense and how much liquid or ink it releases when you write again big fan.

Do not buy for the sake of your notes and sanity

Thanks to these pens I have learned that pens skipping ink is one of the most infuriating things of the first world human experience. Nothing like having to take pages of notes only to have your new pens stop working every other word. Buy these pens if you want to spend numerous minutes writing one (very poor looking) sentence, or if you need to get a gift for someone you really don’t like. Before these pens I thought I had a pretty decent amount patience. I even heated the tip and dipped it in rubbing alcohol. Nothing. I have never written a Target review before but these pens are the bane of my existence and others need to know 😭

Glides on paper

Right from the time I can remember, my favorite time of the year was always back-to-school so I could load up on stationery. I have been looking out for a fountain pen that will help me get back into the practice of cursive writing. And the Sparpie Gel Falsh Ink pens couldn't have arrived at a better time. Great at first - not long term

I absolutely loved the pens when I first started using them. I left a couple in a stand (ink end pointed down). probably didn't use them for a couple of weeks. The next time I tried, they kept skipping and the flow was jagged and hard. So disappointed. They worked so great brand new. Maybe the key is to keep using them regularly and keep the ink flowing. Seems if they sit to long something dries inside. The two I let sit had barely been used. I tried so hard to keep using them but finally gave up and trashed them. It's super frustrating when you have to keep trying to write something over and over and can't get a smooth complete ink line.

Waste of money

DONT BUYYYY. I usually get the energel pens and have used them for years but they finally ran out of ink and I decided to switch it up and buy these. They have full ink in the cartridge but when you write it doesn’t work. I scribbled on things and the ink comes out fine but when I go to write it just randomly stops and it’s so annoying when taking notes for class. It’s brand new and is so blotchy. Even the feel of them feels cheap and poorly made. My boyfriend uses them at work and says the same thing happens to him when writing. Should’ve stuck with the energel. Definitely not worth the money.
