Sennheiser Ie 100 Pro In-ear Monitoring Headphones (Clear)

Just love these in ear monitors. sound reduction is about 80% (may be even more) and allows me to track live drums with very little outside noise bleed thus allowing me to hear what the mic's, preamp's, EQ and compression are doing without very much interference from original accoustic drum kit. Sound quality is everything you would expect from Sennheiser. My only complaint is that lead is a little on the short side (nothing that can not be resolved with an extension cable or a remote radio pack - which is what I suppose these headphones were designed with intended use for :) As is always the case; delivery was prompt and effective, price was truely amazing and quality of product was everything that I hoped for 10/10 all around.

I purchased the IE100 to use with my Android phone, thinking of the potentially great sound quality. However the plugin cable won't connect to the phone, same with a I phone 12 pro. I have called Minnie's to ask what I can do and was just pushed off by the guy saying it's Samsung's problem. Well no, other cheaper ear phones work, so why not these? I can connect to my TV so the item is not faulty. This issue was certainly not made clear in the sales blurb. So now I am stuck with an expensive and useless necklace. I would appreciate some support from either Manny's or Sennhieser.

Oh yea!!!!! I’m sure that the clarity gets better on the up top models but it depends on how you’re using the headphones, these are in ear monitors set that are design for performance so I since I also play percussion instruments - I needed something light weight on my head while I’m playing my Congas. Sennheiser does a great job in managing the appearance of the highs the mids so if you’re looking for low bottom end then this is not it. From what I’m hearing so far it’s more than capable of managing all those frequencies so yes I will actually mix in these if I have to work on documentary audio. Yes, these are pretty much my go to headphones because I like the way they feel in my ear. I will recommend this to anyone looking for something lightweight, these come with the Bluetooth headphone wire setup and also it has the regular 3.5 mm connection to as well other than that yeah I would actually move up from these in the future when I decide to perform again.Definitely get them and enjoy!

Good, clean, clear audio in a versatile setup

I had been looking for a replacement for my old, much-loved IEMs that I've been using solidly on productions for the past few years, as they have had quite a hard life at that time. After various site searches and review reads, I stumbled across an ad for the new Sennheiser IE 100 Pros. I've used various models of over, on and in-ear units from Sennheiser, and in their pro range, always liked the build and audio quality. The version I got is the Bluetooth kit option as this extends my options of what I can use them with. With the Bluetooth option, pairing is really easy and with my initial tests playing some reference audio and several music tracks, the sound is full and rich and with the right buds they naturally kill a lot of background noise too. With the wired option, dialogue is even and exactly what I'd expect the output to be from my selection of mics. All in all, these in-ears will get a lot of use across different environments and production types and even for casual listening and for the price I really I can't really fault them at all so far. My only criticism at this point is that many other IEMs around this price do come with a slightly better, safer storage option that the little (slightly undersized) pouch provided.

Nice iem for starter.(this is wired)

This iem is pretty nice with sennheisers neutral sound and soundstage. In game i can hear which direction of footsteps or gun sound on fps, and it is soo gooood!! But if you like bassy iem this may not it this iem is very neutral and flat sound. In listening music you can hear vocal or instrument sound clearly with no emphasis of bass or mids. And at this price range most of sound qualities are even, but some has more bass, highs or mids, but i think this is very clean and nice iem for starter!!! Reminder this deliver carrier is not friendly with delivery status and delay around week! (If this wasnt issue i will give 5/5)

Not for me

I wanted to get headphones for monitoring audio while filming. I shoot on an iPhone so I liked that these had the ability to be Bluetooth or wired into my lav receiver. Sound quality is great. It's really the design that I don't care for. I hate that the ear wraps flex and move because it forces me to shape it every time I want to put them on. And the option to switch to wired versus wireless is great, but also a bit cumbersome to do, fiddling with all the wires. Both things just take time and it slows me down more than I would like.

Poor sound quality

Before you buy remember earbuds are not returnable in most cases. Fit is great but they sound worse than a transistor radio. I like to hear the bass guitar in my mix but with these it sounds like a click track. If you boost the bass they distort. I'm going back to my $39 Sonys. At least they reproduce low end and don't distort. $99 in the trash can'

Worth the cost easily.

These things are great, the sit not too tight in my ear so they don't start to hurt after using them for days in a row like my other IEM's, plus I can lie down using them which I'm sure was intended (not really). The bit that wraps around the ear is also bendy and holds its shape so It doesn't feel like its about to fall off my ear like my other IEM's which is a massive plus for me. Audio quality is pretty also. Shipping was also pretty freaking fast which is nice.

send me love of classical music

I have no knowledge about headphones or any audio electronics. I just need a decent wired in-ear headphones for listening to classical music. Wired because it's annoying and inconvenient having to charge it when I need to use it at the moment. In-ear because I wear eyeglasses and all the over-ear headphones cause extreme discomfort. And I am sick of those cheaply made earbuds online. I never even heard of IEM until this purchase, and I am glad I bought this. I listen to orchestra symphony a lot, also pieces by single instrument. I could tell all sounds collectively and individually well, imagine I am in the audience inside the concert hall and I can shift my attention anytime to the oboes, French horns, cellos...etc. I can feel like I sit next to the grand piano ... MoreI have no knowledge about headphones or any audio electronics.
