The STIHL SE 33 is a small but powerful wet and dry Vacuum Cleaner, ideal for cleaning small homes or apartments and batches, the garage or car. This 1.4kw vacuum has powerful suction and air throughput at 210 mbar and 3600 l/min. Small steps are no problem for this Vacuum Cleaner due to the rotating front wheels. Difficult-to-reach dirt and dust can be blown out of corners and from under objects using the blow function. It is really easy to switch between wet and dry surfaces with the reversible floor nozzle. This Vacuum Cleaner is compact so it can be stored away easily. It also has ports on the back of the machine for easy storage of accessories. Good little Vacuum. Unfortunately if your ruin the filter you cannot replace it. You can't find one. Stihl unfortunately started selling vacuums before they had any replacement parts.

I wanted something that really worked so I did a lot of research and concluded the Sthil was really good. I went to my hardware store where they had a floor model I could test and I was sold in 2 minutes. It would pull stuff from inches away it had so much power. I was doing a tile job and I had to be careful or it would suck up the tile spacers in a second. It is made by the German Company Nilfisk who also makes the $765 Festool. The vacuum is also very light. For $99 it is a deal. It has the suction of a bigger much more expensive vacuum and for my needs it is perfect. Wish I bought one sooner. Great in the garage around the drill press which always puts **** everywhere. Easy to convert to wet vac mode and did a good job getting the last of the spa pool water out when doing a clean out.

Great service - ordered on-line and it was delivered within 2 working days. I did a bit of comparison on line - this one in comparison to others around $500. I'm so pleased I went for this one as it is great value for money. Perfect size for my garage and super sucky (is that a word?) and very robust. Only drawback is the vacuum chord is a little stiff / lightweight, but otherwise I use it in the garage for some pretty heavy duty stuff and around the home. A great purchase.
So far so good, only the vac pipe is a bit disappointment. It is like a cheap, hard plastic, lets see how long it last. Vacuum is high decibel (noisy) so not good for inside use but then it is not meant for the purpose, good for garage and car etc. Always wanted to own a Stihl product, so this was my first step. I needed a replacement vac as my existing one gave up on the job☹️. I went for the brand…Stihl, it’s got to be good.I was right by most. The suction is great and does exactly what I expected. What is a xxxc little disappointing is the hose. It swivel at the vacuum end but the hand hand held bit doesn’t. Feels like I’m wrestling an Anaconda. Did expect better from Stihl.
I bought this shop vac with the intention of getting a high suction workhorse to tackle an apartment renovation and future chores, like cleaning vehicles several times a year, little projects around the shop or house and so on.Pros: Easy to move about. Very light weight. Suction for dry and wet projects is great!Cons: The foam ring on the exhaust port became clogged with pet hair and now there seems to be a burnt smell after cleaning. Motor has a pitch that seems concerning. The hose and accessories could be stored onboard more securely.Considering all these things and factoring in with the price, I believe could be better.
Worked well for a year, but it's not worth it once you need replacement bags and filters- they're tough to find. A local lawn equipment outlet had a filter in stock and it was $60+ dollars. That annoyed me so much I just tossed it and bought a ridgid for not much more than what a filter costs for this thing!
I would give this little vacuum a 5 star rating if it would have come with a few more attachments. (It only comes with a floor head and crevice tool). I found the car care kit here, but it is $72.99. The darn vacuum only cost me $89. Why would anyone spend another $73 for 4 plastic pieces ? I looked on the Acme Tools website and found the 2 pieces I wanted, branded by Fein. They are exactly the same as the Stihl pieces and fit perfectly. For the upholstery brush and dusting brush, they only cost $26. Way better price. You won't need the crevice tool since one already comes with the vac. I didn't order the longer brush but may do so in the future.
